EXCESSIVE FEES and NOT HONORING HIGH BID
I've bid on many online autos at auctions previously, but this is the first company I would NEVER use again.
I had the high bid, and they would not give me the car. They said it had a reserve, but online had no reserve stated or buy it now.
Next, you have to make a $1,000 deposit before you can even bid, then you must request it to be returned. The auctions fees are extremely HIGH. For example,
If the Final bid was only $25, their fees would be:
Documentation fee: $199
Transaction fee: $299
Auction fee: $290
Now your $25 car just cost you $813.
This fee is based on only $25! Do the math.

BUYER BEWARE!! If I can give a company zero stars, this one would be it. My husband and I are looking for a vehicle that would get us from point A to point B. We found a vehicle we really liked and saw the price was $1000. We looked at the terms and conditions and found that they would have a fee of $299, which we were prepared to pay because we understand it wasn't going to just be $1000. We then received an invoice of $2500 on top of the $1000 we already paid. This business did not disclose these fees with us at the time at purchase and when I called them to cancel the purchase and was told that I would have to pay $2000. This is the most unethical company. They are the most rude people I've ever dealt with. DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY EVER. You might as well buy a newer used car that you know for sure actual starts from else where. This company is just one massive headache.

Hello! We have checked your account. You purchased 2003 CHEVROLET AVALANCHE 1500 using Buy now price which was $1000. And the fees where charged on the top of this amount. So the final invoice $2153 includint the transaction fee $299, documentation fee $199 and auction fee $655. The fee calculator shows the correct final amount. The link to the Fee Calculator is in the description of every vehicle. As you read and accepted the terms and conditions there is a paragraph 5. Payments & Fees
5.2. Transaction Fees: All sales shall be subject to a per-purchase Transaction Fee in the amount of Two Hundred Ninety-Nine U.S. Dollars and No Cents ($299.00) or Nine (9%) percent of the purchase price, whichever is greater plus applicable fees for Basic Members, Two Hundred Fifty U.S. Dollars and No Cents ($250.00) or Five (5%) percent of the purchase price, whichever is greater plus applicable fees for Premier Members and Two Hundred U.S. Dollars and No Cents ($200.00) or Three (3%) percent of the purchase price, whichever is greater plus applicable fees for Expert Members. Transaction Fees shall not be refundable for any reason whatsoever.
5.6. IAA Auction Fees: All sales are subject to IAA Auction Fees . Prior to placing any bid(s) you are encouraged to review and understand the IAA Auction Fees and Fee Structure of IAA Auctions, as sales will not be canceled based on a lack of knowledge of the applicable IAA Auction Fees or any other applicable Fees.

The deposit of $1000 is completely refundable. It cannot be used to cover any transaction. It is not prepayment. When the vehicle is paid in full and picked the deposit will be refunded in full. In case the vehicle is not paid in time, the cancellation fee will be charged. The cancellation fee is 30% or $2000 whatever is greater.
5. Payments & Fees
5.1. Security Deposits: Provided that the Purchase Price has been fully paid and the purchased vehicle picked up, the Security Deposit is fully refundable (barring offset against other fees) via a request from your Account, with most refunds being returned via the same payment method used to make the Security Deposit. In the event that a refund is requested 120 days or more after the date of the Security Deposit payment, U.S. and Canadian residents may receive their refunds via a paper check, with all other Members receiving refunds via wire transfer with the Member responsible for any and all wire transfer fees. Refund requests may not be made in writing or verbally and must be made exclusively through your Member Account and shall not be valid until a confirmation email is received by you from us. Deposits are not generally required to use and access the website, however, a security deposit is required in order to place a bid;

Better use of time and money elsewhere
After dealing with so many bugs in their system that didn't allow me to put in bids I was finally able to buy 2 vehicles the first I ended up paying 100 extra in storage fees because they didn't get back to me for 3 days that the wire transfer had gone through. Then they tried to charge me 295 for shipping and gave me a whole run around when I told them I found outside shipping. Over the coarse of a week I must have made 30-40 calls tying to deal with all the issues from them. Never work with them again, better to just go to a local iaa auction

I've purchased a total of three cars…
I've purchased a total of three cars under this company's auctions. Two of the purchases went off with no issues. However, one of the purchases had a Vin that didn't match the title. When I contacted accounting to report the issue and seek help, they pretty much blew me off as thou it was my problem and wouldn't help me. Lesson learned; check the vehicle against the title they provide at time of pick-up. The other issue with this company is how long many of the cars sit on the auction site without ever coming to an actual auction date.

SCA is a SCAM! You will lose every bid you make. After you ask for your refund they will claim you have won a car! Now here comes the undisclosed SHIPPING fees! Hundreds of dollars later they keep your deposit! Beware! If you’re looking for a cheap car look elsewhere! Customer service is no help either!

We have double checked your account and found out that you bid $25 on the vehicles. Unfortunately you were outbid. But you used the Buy now option to get 2007 HONDA CIVIC HYBRID and it was awarded to you without the auction. The delivery was offered to make it easy for the clients and avoid searching for the transporter. Because according to the auction rules the vehicle should be picked up by the licensed insured carrier. We fulfilled our obligations and provided you the access to the closed on-line auto auction where you purchased the vehicle. For some reason you are not happy with the purchase and it is OK to cancel the purchase. In this case according to the terms and conditions the cancellation fee of $2000 should be paid. The deposit will be refunded in full when the vehicle is paid in full and picked up or the cancellation fee is paid. Otherwise according to the terms and conditions it will be used to cover part of the due. All the process and fees are disclosed in the terms and conditions and FAQs.
