My Ride1up bike compares to other models that are $1,000 more expensive. I am very happy with the bike as well as the individual components. Battery/range is fantastic. Motor is powerful. Brakes, gears, etc are great! I get compliments on my bike every time I ride!

This was my first experience with an electric bike, but man, do I love it! The bike itself is high quality, looks amazing (many have commented on how good and nice it looks) and was very easy to assemble. The step by step video that they linked was very informative and easy to follow. But that is not the best part! The bike handles very easy and is able to conquer hills like a champ (without killing your legs). The light is super bright (although it does drain the battery quickly, but that is to be expected), so you can ride safely no matter the time of the day. The range is pretty impressive and if you are sparing with your pedal assist, you would be surprised on it’s range! Highly recommend it!

I was debating between Ride1up and…

I was debating between Ride1up and Lectric, but Ride1Up ultimately won me over with the price and the features for the money. I have absolutely no regrets– this bike is wonderful! Hills and traffic are actually manageable now, and biking is an option where it wasn’t before in my metro context with virtually no bike lanes. Putting the bike together took some doing, but mostly time-intensive and not skilled labor. Online videos made it so that even I felt comfortable, and I would consider myself a novice when it comes to bike maintenance. If you are on the fence, do it! You won’t find a better full-size e-bike with these features for the money right now.

Vorsa Review

Vorsa review:
I apologize in advance as this is lengthy. I don’t post reviews very often, but really wanted to in this case. But I also wanted to wait until I had at least several hundred miles on it in a variety of terrain (hills and flats) before giving my feedback.

My wife and I have had 500 series Ride1Up bikes for the past 4 years until I upgraded to the Vorsa. Although we love the 500s, this bike is hands down so much better. So much more power for a rider my size (235lbs), smooth hydraulic brakes, great display, and just an all around quality build. So far, we have ridden some pretty steep inclines on paved trails, and even at my size I can still get 15mph + up the hills, often even without going to the top level of assist. I love the fact that you can decide on either cadence or torque sensor, although I ride predominantly in torque sensor now after experiencing the smooth more natural assist. Also being able to customize the level of assistance you get for each step up on the display is awesome. You will definitely want to do that if you are going to use the cadence sensor, as the level of assist is way to high out of the box. Battery life has been outstanding. I have gone 41-42 miles a few times and still had 45-50% battery left- even with often riding in level 2-3 and some mixed throttle.

The last thing I will say is that I have always had very good luck when reaching out to customer service in the 4+ years we have owned Ride1Up bikes. I know everyone’s experience is different, but I will leave you with this story- when I was installing the stem and tightening it down when putting the Vorsa together, I likely went a little too tight and stripped one of the threads on one side. I contacted support, ended up talking to Kevin himself (one of the founders), and no questions asked he said that since they did not have the parts shipment in yet for spare parts to send me a replacement, that they would reimburse me for a new stem on Amazon (and also guided me on some good options to order). I did not take them up on them reimbursing me, as looking back I am sure it was install error on my part. But to me, that is great customer service and makes me want to continue to buy from them in the future.

Easy to assemble

Easy to assemble, intuitive to ride, and an all around blast. Can’t stop riding. I use the pedal assist mode almost all the time which allows my bum knee to loosen up and get exercise. I haven’t been able to ride my regular bike for years due to knee issues. Now I ride for hours every day and am loving it. FYI I am 70 years old.

Amazing experience so far

Amazing experience so far, I live in the mountains in Colorado and this bike hauls me up some serious inclines without me breaking sweat. I spent all of my youth cycling, but since moving country 16 years ago I just lost the habit. This bike has brought back the joy of cycling to me and feeling the wind in my face again just makes me smile. After-sales service has been impeccable, I had some issues with the rack but Ride1up fully back up their products, and then some. I arranged the import myself, and it was pretty painless, and for this quality bought here, I’d easily pay 50% extra, if not more. So if you are dithering, if you are wondering whther you can really get back in the saddle after all these years, if you live in a mountainous landscape, whatever it is that is making you pause, just go for it and pull the trigger. You’re going to have a blast.

I've owned my Roadster for almost 3 years now

I've owned my Roadster for almost 3 years now. It's pretty basic, but it's been great. I've needed to order some parts and diagnose an issue so I had to contact Ride1up. I'm relieved that they were easy to work with and all their replacement parts are reasonably priced and listed on their site. It saved me a lot of time and money. I have an eBike from another company and they don't list all their parts. When I needed to order a replacement charger, they ripped me off.

Outstanding Value

Outstanding Value – Fun to ride! Ride1up has been great to deal with. Called a couple times before ordering and they always answered. Haven’t had any issues yet, but shipping was quick, and they’ve been very communicative.

I love my Vorsa from Ride1UP

I love my Vorsa from Ride1UP! I did a lot of research before purchasing this bike and it is by far the best bike for the money. It has a larger frame size than other ebikes and my 6’4″ husband can ride comfortably on it as well. I attached my son’s bicycle seat on the back and as he says we go fast fast. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a high quality ebike. The sleek design is the icing on the cake.

Ride1Up V3 Roadster e-bike.

I have a V3 Roadster e-bike.

> Pirelli gravel tyres - unsafe/skid hazard in wet conditions
- I recently fell off my bike when braking, the bike skidded. A bike org review of the tyre shows that it’s got lack of traction in the wet. I emailed Ride1Up about this requesting different tyres more suited to the wet, and they offered no compensation, noting they are not used to the wet in San Diego.

> Braking hard can lead to a wobble when riding
- I almost lost control on a commute. As such I would recommend testing the brakes and getting comfortable with them. In my case braking semi-firm (not hard) seems to slow the bike quickly but not wobble the bike.

I had the 700 Series for 4.5 years and ridden about 5000 miles on it. The battery is still strong, and no parts have ever shaken loose. I am looking forward to buying another bike from Ride1Up once I sell this one.

The EQUALIZER.

This bike feels like it was built for me. The pedal assist helps me get up hills and allows me to ride alongside my husband, who is a stronger rider. Shifting, braking, and moving up and down the levels of pedal assist is easy and smooth. We appreciate the torque wrench and tools that arrived with the bike! Nice touch!

Ride 1 Up

We purchased two ride one up 700 series bicycles. I’ve only owned them a couple of months and one of the back straps came off. Ride one up doesn’t carry this part. I was told when I purchased these bicycles that I could get every replacement part from them I needed. I would be aware of purchasing a bicycle when the company cannot provide replacement parts. 😡 and on top of it I’ve owned these bikes about three months and they are now discontinued. Great.

Bought a Turris ST...brake problem

Bought a Turris ST. It's a nice bike, easy to assemble,
...BUT...Arrived with front brake working poorly, badly adjusted. If regular caliper brakes I would adjust it in 30 seconds.
Called/emailed customer service. They HAVE NO customer service, said go get it fixed. I did, cost $50.00 + tax to have both brakes bled/adjusted, now works fine. If you buy one and have a major problem, throw it out. They will leave you to twist in the wind.

Disappointing Experience with Bike Quality and Customer Service

Just wanted to share my experience with this brand for the awareness of potential buyers.

I bought a brand new bike(CF Racer 1) expecting it to be ready to ride without any issues, but I encountered a persistent clicking noise in the drivetrain. Despite putting over 20 miles on it, thinking it might just need to be broken in, the problem never went away. What’s disappointing is that, being a new bike, I didn’t expect to deal with derailleur adjustments right off the bat.

Other bike brands I’ve dealt with have been much quicker in handling issues and are even willing to offer significant discounts when customers run into inconveniences. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case here. Their handling of my concern left me disappointed, and I hope others don’t experience the same.

If you’re considering this brand, just be aware that the customer service might not be as responsive or accommodating as you'd expect, especially if you encounter issues with your purchase.

Poor Customer Service

Great bikes, but when we purchased new replacement batteries, we received defective batteries. Initial batteries that came with the bikes averaged 40 to 50 miles per charge. Using the bikes under the same conditions but using them less, the replacement batteries from day one averaged 30 to 35 miles per charge. Obviously defected. Ride1Up not willing to do anything about this. Basically paid for 2 batteries, that are half as good as the original batteries that came with the ebikes
