Finally having an end to end experience: from getting a quote, reading what’s it about, purchases, repeated purchases for many trips, and sadly having to claim for a damage penalty. All are clear, transparent and fair (sound familiarised jargons from some companies, but are they doing things that way !?🤣). To me rentalcover honoured and delivered exceeding my expectations

Waiting 6 months for claim….nothing 😡😡😡🤬
We have been trying for almost 6 months to get our claim to go through. We have sent copies of everything we have but they are still asking for information that we can’t access. I feel they are just waiting for us to give up our claim.
We can never talk to a real person.
In hindsight sight we should have put a stop payment on the repair bill and sent the rental company to chase this insurance company. The rental company even repaired the damage with used parts to lower the cost. The rental company was a smaller company but so wonderful to deal with.
In good faith we trusted this insurance company and have been burned bad.
We have been given the run around for 6 months.
Think twice before using this company for your travel insurance!!

Very slow response
It shouldn’t take an insurance company more than 5 days to reply to an email . First of all they do not have a phone number and operate via email only . Secondly , I bought insurance from this company , did an enquiry to be sure that it meets my needs. Fortunately I did not have a big accident but just a graze on the right bumper. I was a little worried about the process for making the claim and of course whether I would get the claim.

Rented a car in Italy
Rented a car in Italy, had a minor scratch which I was unaware of, the rental company charged me the amount from my deposit, had fortunately taken a full insurance coverage from Rental cover. The process was seamless, just had to upload all the necessary documents for the claim and got the claim credit to my account in about 2 weeks, worth paying for full insurance which isn't very expensive as well, highly recommended

Terrible customer service and communication, scammed!
Only received the tow fee back and not the clutch repair we were billed for which amounted to 1060 Euro's!!! We had the car for just under 24 hours, my partner has drove manual cars for 20+ years, we were driving in a foreign country on the other side of the road with two small children in the back. The car had the original clutch and had done 66,000km. We were scammed by RecordGO and then scammed by RentalCover whom we bought protection from. A family of four, this incident ruined our four day holiday as we had no replacement car and then has ruined us on the return losing over £1000. RentalCover has not replied to any of our emails chasing the rest of our money owed. We feel we will now need to pay out a solicitor to fight for our money back. PLEASE DO NOT USE THESE COMPANIES.
