Slow and not very competent

I’ve been trying to arrange a desktop rebuild survey with this company for over a month. So far they’ve got the product wrong, my house wrong (great start for surveyors) and take 4-5 days to respond to emails (their entire sales process is via email). Over a month in and I’ve still not been able to buy the thing I want for £200. Close to useless.

Overinflated rebuild value

My new insurers said I would need to get a current rebuild value for my house insurance and recommended RebuildCostASSESSMENT.com (RCA). I was charged £160 for this. My current valuation at the time of taking out the policy in December 2025 was £1.1m based on our 2018 house survey rebuild cost of £830k plus year on year increase to 2025 of £270k. The survey from RCA came back at a staggering £2m which is £900k more! My insurers are now refunding my payment and using the figures originally quoted. How many more customers have been given overinflated rebuild costs which they will be overpaying on their insurance premium. No one came out to look at our property it was all done on a desktop. Someone was supposed to call me back to discuss the valuation but never did.
