Desperate for a loan

I just went through this yesterday 05/02/2025. I applied for a loan to pay off my credit cards for $5000 . Yesterday I got a call from them telling me my loan was approved. They said they needed to send me a small loan and I needed to go to Walmart and get a Cash Card and take a picture of it and send to them, then they would put the $5000 in my account. Thankfully when they attempted to log into my account my bank blocked it. I was desperate to get a loan to pay off my cards. Could not get a bank loan due to my low credit score. I have a very good score regarding on time payments, but my cards are maxed out. Be very aware of these scams. I learned a very good lesson from this experience! These scammers make me sick. I will never do that again!!!!!

Fraudulent impersonation of rapid loans america…

These people have been blowing my phone up for days. They tried to get me to give them my login information to my bank after I gave them my account and routing number, but I would not give them my login information. They asked me to let them send me a loan smaller than the amount that I applied for and turn around and send it back to them and then they would grant me the whole amount that I asked for because my credit score is low. My credit score is like 670 which is not Low. They told me they would call me back in 10 minutes and when they did, that’s when they started asking for my information to log into my bank and blah blah blah. I hung up on him. I did not give them any further information. I knew right then it was a scam so I’m sorry that these guys are impersonating you but I had enough sense not to do it. I do need a loan terribly though. They have been calling since then 20 plus times daily! Running my battery down! It’s ridiculous!

This is fraud!!!

This is fraud!!!
They tried scamming me sent me 3 payments of $136.00, $139.00 & $135.00 and told me to go to Family Dollar to get a Lululemon card or a apple gift card so that I can pay the money back quickly and promptly so it will boost my credit score and then they would send me $3000. I notified my bank immediately of this scam because why would I be getting a Lululemon card that’s a clothing store why would I be getting an Apple gift card?

DO NOT DO IT SCAM!!!!!

DO NOT DO IT SCAM!!!!!

I knew the 4.99% APR was too good to be true, but I was desperate, so I chose to proceed cautiously. They wanted me to do a transfer before I could get the actual 7k loan because I have fair credit, and they said I needed to raise my score first. However, anyone who has a credit score knows that changes aren't reflected for a month, and she was stating that this would all be done in a day? Then, when I asked very clearly and directly how I would pay back the funds, she refused to answer and started getting snippy. That's when I found a review from earlier this month stating that they lost $500 because Rapid Loans sent a fraudulent check. I politely told the woman that I was no longer interested, and after a brief argument, she said goodbye, Ms. Bi***. I called back and confronted her, and she tried to play dumb before telling me to wait for her to pause the recording. I hung up, and she called me 5 times back to back! Psychos!!

RapidLoansAmerica SCAM

Do not, Do NOT, DO NOT even think about using this company. I was called regarding a $5,000 loan, 3 year term, and 4.92% APR interest rate. They said they needed to put some money into my checking account so that I would pay them right back and they could report to the credit bureaus that I had faithfully completed a loan agreement and paid on time all with the "supposed" intent of bumping my credit score a few points. They deposited 3 checks totaling $500 and all 3 checks were fraudulent. The bank bounced them. In order to complete the agreed pay back of the money I was told to get 3 Lululemon gift cards and for the $500 amount and then give them the card numbers and register receipts (all of which I have!) this came from money that had not cleared the account.

Only one of the 3 telephone numbers I was given is answered and by someone and they do not speak very good English and with the terrible static on the line (probably an overseas number!) they are nearly unintelligable.

I am out $500 because of this scam perpetrated by individuals representing RapidLoansAmerica. I want my money back and these people dealt with according to the law!!

Be Careful When You NEED FUND FAST..!

My Story is Similar
To the others. I was Contacted by a Rapid loans Rep on April 23 2025 .i was Also asked if a deposit for less than the loan amount could be deposited into my account and I was asked that return the amount back to the company through getting a gift card for the Amount and sent it to the Rep. so I agreed and sent funds back that the company. I was supposed to receive my funds within 24hrs . And since they did not send me the loan app. I called them so at this time I am waiting for a call back. And by the way the phone number of the Rep that I spoke to is no longer in Service🤔Now I’m getting suspicious . They told me at the other number that in called that I would receive a call back in 15 min. I will keep you posted as to what will happen.HOPEFULLY it will work out the guy I talked to was so kind and helpful and assured me that I would get my loan and I really need it because I got a situation . If this does not work out I am SURE that the Good Lord will make another way and OPEN another door.

Seems fishy!

Seems fishy!! I received multiple calls from a 650 area code and when I finally answered the rep told me that I was approved for $30,000. I don't even remember applying for $30,000 loan so I proceeded with the rep. The rep requested my bank info to link to their server and transfer $3000 in order to receive $30,000. I received numerous loans over the years and I've never had to do that before. The rep then told me that the senior manager would contact me within 30 minutes. I received the call 30 minutes later and was asked to verify additional info to process the loan. The senior manager then told me that a senior underwriting advisor would contact me within 10 minutes to process the loan. I got the call 10 minutes later and was told that the loan would be processed within 12-24 hours. I'm still waiting on the funds to be deposited so I will keep you updated with the outcome. I have also submitted a claim to fcpb to report this incident. Just thought I'll leave a review for the next reader to be aware.

Thanks for getting in touch. After reviewing the information you provided, we’re very concerned about what appears to be a fraudulent request involving our company’s name. The offer to accept a smaller payment now, only to return it and later receive the full amount, is not something we would ever ask our clients to do.

Possible scam?

Someone representing themself from your company tried, I believe, to scam me. I understand having to take extra steps for someone with poor credit. I understand wishing g to make a deposit and have a short term loan paid back. But a reputable company should be doing so by EFT not depositing a check that won’t clear till long after the money has been cleared. Based on a prior scam experience I informed him my bank would hold that check up to 5 days so I could not do what he suggested. He then Hung up on me and hasn’t called back. If this person was actually from your company then that’s even worse.

So yes not satisfied with this company. They asked me to receive money into my bank account less than what was approved and immediately return it before I can get the approved amount.
That sounded pretty fishy to me. I declined.
