Buyer Beware!

Buyer Beware! (Stay away, far away)
I ordered the Surfsilk Hawaii Fade 20" Boardshorts size 32 from Quicksilver. They were so large that I measured the waist and it's over 33 inches. The string tie does nothing to reduce the size of the waist. I can exchange the shorts for $7.50. When you consider these shorts were made in China for pennies, their return policy is terrible. Calling customer service they said that they would 'refund' the restocking fee; but, I don't trust this company. Are all 'surf' companies this deceptive?

I am so excited to see Quicksilver’s…

I am so excited to see Quicksilver’s brand disappear. Bought a pair of men’s flip flops navy color - absolutely garbage quality. YOU GUYS STAINED MY FRICKEN BATHTUB + HOUSE FLOOR THANKS TO YOUR HORRIBLE QUALITY. All the color of the flip flop transfers to my feet and that goes to anything else my feet touch when I’m not using these flip flops. I’M NEVER BUYING ANYTHING FROM YOU GUYS AGAIN. FIRST & LAST PURCHASE. Thanks for not having the integrity to actually sell quality products. Thanks for being so short-sighted to see that reducing the quality of your products means you’ll make money in the short term, but lose longterm customers + contribute to the waste of the planet. Forget about your brand. I’ll be throwing these out.

The Worst!!

The Worst!!! I hardly ever leave bad reviews because if I have a bad experience, I usually just refuse to patronize said establishment again. BUT, I have to post this... I purchased several items (over $300) from the Quicksilver store that is located inside of the Blue Mall in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, in early May, one of those items was a pair of slides. After only 2 weeks, the slides blew apart while I was walking on the beach one day. I went back to the store in the mall to exchange for a new pair. The lady in the store called her manager to get the okay to make the exchange since I did not have my "paper"receipt; I did however have electronic proof from my credit card transaction history. They said that this was not good enough and wouldn't exchange the damaged slides for a new pair! I reached out to their customer support department hoping to get this rectified and here was their response: "Quiksliver Customer Support

to me

Hello Barry,

Thank you for contacting Quiksilver Customer Service!

I'm truly sorry to hear about the issue with your sandals.

Unfortunately, as the customer service team for our online store, we have limited access to transactions made through physical stores or third-party retailers, and we are unable to access their information.

Due to this, all returns and exchanges must be initiated through the original point of sale, as their policies differ from ours, and unfortunately our system does not allow us to process or override claims for purchases made outside our official website.

I completely understand this is frustrating, especially given the circumstances, and I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

We truly appreciate your understanding. If there's anything else we can assist you with, feel free to reach out."

First of all, who hangs onto a receipt for clothing items once you've tried them on and felt no reason to return or exchange any of the items? This isn't an appliance or electronic device! Secondly, this is not a case of a simple, I don’t like this product or this item doesn’t fit, it’s about a defective product that bears your name! As a business owner in the vacation rental space, I will make it a priority to notify not just my clients but also the clients of my business partners, to never support the Quicksilver brand again.

Baddest customer service ever!!

After 4 weeks I still have not received my order and do not believe the package will ever be delivered.... Multiple attempts to reach customer service, both by email and phone, have resulted in nothing. It is impossible to get in touch with a live person.

Avoid at all costs.

Searching for T shirts for my OH I Googled both Billabong and Quicksilver. I ordered 4…2 from Billabong and 2 from Quicksilver….little did I know they were sourced from the same company. To date I have only received one although informed all had been shipped. I was advised to ask all my neighbours and also search my garden for the missing parcel! I had to set up an account to establish where the orders were only to discover they had been returned to sender with no explanation. Now chasing refund. I’d avoid ordering anything from this outfit!

Non delivery of order

Ordered a present and received confirmation. However the parcel was never sent. Unable to reach anybody from customer services. Have tried to work through the bot but get nothing useful. No way to discuss a refund.

If I could give this place a 0 I would

If I could give this place a 0 I would! I purchased a snowsuit for my grandson on November 29th. I never received an email confirmation that I purchased it. I have yet to receive it and can not track it. The post office said it was a very strange scan and to get back to the seller. Finally after several days of trying to get ahold of someone they answered the phone. I was told they would look into it and call me back. They didn’t and the weekend came and of course no one is there! I have to wait until 12:00 my time to try again today! I have left several emails but no response! In the meantime it has snowed and we have had to purchase another snowsuit!

I wish I had checked the reviews before…

I wish I had checked the reviews before purchasing.
No contact from the company at all regarding late deliveries/if at all the purchases have actually been sent, still awaiting confirmation via DPD from a order on 30/09/24 (it is now 14/10/24)
Don't be fooled by the previous reputation of the brand like I was.
Poor Poor Poor

No refund a month after returns

No refund a month after returns! Had to return 2 pairs of shorts which fit nothing like they should have! Returned them a month ago and sent several emails chasing it up, but no replies!

Avoid this once fantastic brand like the plague!

No customer service

No customer service. I tried to make a new purchase using a New CC to my second home. Before I put could put in the confirmation code (sent to me) they put the order on an old C Card to my old Address, with NO AUTHORIZATION. I never gave them the right to keep my old credit card. I called right away to cancel order which they said they can’t. They keep your credit card information EVEN when you decline them to keep it. Don’t deal with the com

I am reviewing three products

I am reviewing three products: two short-sleeved T-shirts and a winter jacket.
I bought the first T-shirt in Sardinia. It was about $27.
After one year, it was ruined with small holes that showed the 'fatigue' of the material.
The second T-shirt I bought in the Czech Republic, cost around $25. After a year, the threads were dangling from it and a hole appeared on the shoulder, which at this time is about 1.5cm wide.
I bought the winter jacket at the same store in the Czech Republic, price about $100. It was more like a jacket - a fluffy, furry jacket. It can hardly be for winter, as the wind blows it reliably and it is really cold in the wind, although it looks very sturdy. But I'm not giving this as a review, just giving an example of what season it should probably be worn for. It has developed three holes, also after a year of use: two on the top of the shoulder and one in the armpit. The jacket had not been stressed or overworked in any way and yet the material was very easily damaged.
As far as design goes - it's my favorite brand. But the quality is lousy and shoddy.
