Scammy practice. When you generate a QR code they ask you to create an account. What they don't tell you is that by doing so you start a 7-day free trial. After that the QR code you generated will no longer work. If you happen to have used it in all printed material, you are forced to pay in order to keep using that QR code. Their dynamic QR code has some cool features, but their practice is deceitful.

Active QR code sucks
Active QR code sucks! Do not use! It's a scam! I made a QR code, then posted it everywhere for my website - then it just quit working! No heads up or notification because active QR doesn’t tell you that you have to pay for the code. Then they want you to sign up for a subscription! And don’t worry you can cancel “anytime”but you have to email or call them…I know this game. Companies have begun making it exceedingly difficult to cancel subscriptions and this is a classic example. This is a slimy and unethical business.
