Received pergola in timely manner. When unpacking boxes tobegin assembly, we noticed the handle on the crank was broken in many pieces. I sent an email immediately, even though it was a holiday weekend. Didn't expect a response until the following Monday,but received one within 24 hrs. After sending a picture of item, I received an email saying they were sending a whole new crank - still on the weekend! So far assembly has been easy and I'm sure we will soon be enjoying our new pergola!

The Pergola is great. A couple of missing pieces and 5 louvers that were damaged in shipping but it is pretty neat. The instructions were the hardest part. Please redesign the instructions. The comic book that was sent as instructions caused a lot of confusion, and angst among the helpers. We need to contact Purple Leaf to get the parts replaced.

Box was damaged and there is hardware missing. I have emailed in and hoping our experience improves. Also, my initial impression is the umbrella material could be better quality - stitching already looks frayed in certain areas and was hoping for a heavier duty material. We did order the "Heavy Duty" version.
