Worst customer service ever!!!

11 weeks after posting my poor review I still have a broken scooter with no replacement part. Below is a full breakdown of my experience with Punk Ride. I can safely say they are the worst company I have ever dealt. Customer service is non existent just delay tactics and lies.
Sorry this is so long but just to let people know what they are dealing with.

3rd review for this atrocious company

3rd review for this atrocious company.
They sold me a bike which was delivered on 28th February, I reported it as faulty and they told me they couldn’t replace as it was outside their returns window. Turns out it wasn’t as the invoice on the shop invoice gave a date for return period and I emailed before that date.

The bike is a hidoes c1, the throttle wasn’t working at all and the pedal assist was intermittent. After requesting the same information multiple times, They replaced the throttle and asked me to pay shipping which I refused. Turns out it wasn’t the throttle, even after I said it wouldn’t be. They then sent a replacement motor which also didn’t fix the issues so told me to return the bike.

This also didn’t fix the issue so after more emails backwards and forwards they agreed to let me return the bike for repair or replacement. They told me a return date, didn’t happen, then another return date, guess what…..no pick up. They had told the courier another day to them. 3 days later it was collected. I was told by punkride that it didn’t need packaging as the courier would supply that. When the courier arrived they said they couldn’t take it as no packaging. My dad managed to find some bubble wrap and off it went.

Once they had it, they stopped responding to emails which set even more alarm bells ringing. Finally got a response and was told it was being returned and then no response again. I emailed their manager/director Mike who is rude and he told me they were waiting on a replacement unit being sent to them.

The return was arranged to go to my parents and it didn’t arrive! I then had to message the courier to change the delivery address as my parents were on holiday. Finally received the bike back thinking it was a new one after all the faulty one was new as it had only been ridden 3 times as was faulty. My dad wanted to put it together and make sure everything worked as they hadn’t exactly been reliable and he was on holiday when it was returned.

Finally put what we thought was the new bike together and it’s 2nd hand!!! It’s got a dent on the mud guard, mud in the mud guards, rust on the bit the chain and pedals are. I have emailed them about it sending pictures and they said it was my bike which was returned but it isn’t and I have an email from Mike advising it was a new unit. They have said they can’t issue a partial refund and if I’m not happy then to return the bike AGAIN!!

They are the worst company I have ever dealt with. I have put a charge back in with my bank as this company is fraudulent. They also state that all the negative reviews on here are competitors.

So not only do I have a 2nd hand bike that I paid full price for, they have cost me money having to pay for travel and loss of earnings from hanging around waiting on it being collected and returned. Do they care? No! I have about 150 emails from myself and them over almost 3 months and they keep asking me to amend my trustpilot reviews!

If you’re thinking of buying from this company, run away, as fast as you can!!!!

EDIT 26/06 - another email asking me to change my review. They don’t like to fully resolve the issue and don’t like being called out on it either by the looks of it.

Update on Faulty Hidose B10

Hi So last month I purchased a Hidose B10 from Punkride.
However long story short I have had many issues with the bike.
First a faulty LCD display was replaced.
Then I have had 4 flat tires.
Now The bike has powered of and will not turn on again.
While I was riding it just stopped and powered of.
The bike was sufficiently charged.
There has been a clear faulty bike sent out to me.
This has honestly caused me much stress.
If Punkride refund me the full amount for the E bike I will call it a day.
And have a different opinion on there company.
However for now this has caused nothing but stress for me.

Bad experience in future avoiding them

Tried make purchase money got taken but there was no trace of my order and no confirmation from my purchase so emailed over and got told no trace of any orders active so cancel it waited for that lot of money to come back to me in the mean time I purchased again for second time and had same problem again so now canceling once again the second order because no trace of my purchase or no emails from confirmation order not a good experience should be pretty straightforward with order on there site but it wasn't one unhappy customer would not recommend.... you guys need to sort your company out absolute joke if I am truthful you guys never emailed me no tracking u guys couldn't find me on system and u waiting 46 hours until I stepped in and told my bank and they got my money back i am a new customer to your site and absolutely wasted 46 hours of my life on 2 orders to anyone who is looking into this site I would avoid unless you want to be messed around with the purchase avoid avoid avoid

Punk rider deducted the amount from my bank and i can't track my order! It says that neither my order nor my phone number exists? On june 7th. Fraud Scheme - Update on my case

Hey everyone, as you know, I payed for an scooter which didn't fit very well to my needs. I never tried the scooter out, only inside, and I decided to return on the same day that I got it. I pay from my end to have the scooter returned, but after 2 weeks this company claim that they simply "send the wrong return address". Now they want me to get the product returned to my home by myself, and send to other address. I got legal help and this is simply an strategy of all fraud scheme to retain your money. I informed them, that I'll be glad to cooperate once I receive the full amount of my refund, since I've done everything right on my side, and it was their mistake. Their answer was: "we can't issue all the money back because we need to ensure compliance with your policies."
I was curious about what policies do they have regarding sending the wrong return address to the customer, and then I asked them this question. And guess what? No answer whatsover.

I've been sharing this every day to alert all of people that are thinking about to buy with them, don't. And if you if you already did, flag them as scam asap.

Aovo Pro Max

Hi, I have ordered for Aovo Pro Max 500W as you can see my order placed record in your system. But unfortunately you delivered me another one which name is Ladped.
However, the customer support team is very supportive and they investigate the matter with the manufacturer and confirmd me that this is the same product only the labeling has changed. Even they confirmed me during 1 year of warranty period if anything issue they will serve quick support.
If it is so then I think I have no issue with this. Bike is working fine but I have doubt about battery Wh. Because I am not getting the closure milage what has described in Spec. I am getting 25Km/h but Spec has 35 to 40Km/h. Overall it is OK for the time being. I hope punkride should work with manufacturer regarding battery capacity and quality which is very important. Thanks.

Third and final review

Great scooter but not for beginners (which they make clear). I would recommend immediately buying a portable electric air pump (Ophanie is the brand I bought). They aren’t that expensive, they are really easy to use and it’s the only way to fill up the tires. I wish I knew that information from the start because it would have saved me some grief. That being said it has a lot of power. I can get up the steep hills of Seattle at 15 mph. If you engage the dual motor and sport mode it is like warp speed. So be careful about which mode you have it on. When I first rode it I had it on eco mode and dual motor so I took off like a rocket but only went 13 mph. I was confused until I figured out how to switch modes and which works best for my routine (ideally standard mode and single motor is best for most short trips). Also, you can switch between modes by pushing the start button down firmly for a second. I don’t think that detail is in the manual. Lastly, make sure the locking system on the stem is pushed up and locked because I don’t think that is clear in the manual. I crashed because I didn’t know that was there and assumed it locked automatically like other scooters and the stem unfolded.

The delivery was fine

The delivery was fine, I got it in time. My son was very happy the first week. But now after one week the scooter just gonin 15 km when it was supposed to do 40km. He called me crying and is very sad. The scooter is also supposed to go for 40km, but now the battery only last for 10km.

i ordered a scooter for the 17th of april 2025 and fast track express but has not come yet and the tracking updates have not moved,i tried contacting but it was just the same things all the time, it is now 23rd april 2025 and i have still not received my order so i am fuming

B10 throttle fault

Ordered a b10 electric bike which arrived within 2 days. The throttle was faulty and a new one was sent out. No problem contacting the company and the matter was resolved. Very pleased with the bike and the customer service was excellent. I have no problem in using this company again

If you living in Ireland be ready send it faulty scooter with your own expense to Uk

I bough scooter from this company last august 2024.Really bought for nice days in Ireland where I can leave my car and drive sometimes to work.I got use around roughly 2 months and motor brakes.Contacted Punk ride company and after 2 weeks they decided send me new motor.When I received motor I contacted company in Cork who fixes scooters and brought my scooter with new motor to them.Received video saying that new motor they sent to me is faulty and very dangerous.It works until you press on brakes.When you press on brakes scooter takes off so fast.Can you imagine if i would be on the road I can get killed.Paid people for their work and time an contacted Ounk ride again with video evidences and asked to collect them faulty scooter and faux new motor they sent me.First they said okay but after they charged their mind and offered me to send all this to them in UK with my own expenses and they will fix it for me,Of course I said no,I paid already for their mistake and I didn’t want pay more money for shipping.Would be similar money to buy new scooter.Also there is no guarantee that they will fix properly if they sent me a motor like that.
