Worse experience ever…
To start my truck was picked up from Colorado by a company, come to find out this transport company puerto Rico Car transport did not have any knowledge of who picked up my truck. They asked us to purchase additional insurance from them which we did, TOTAL SCAM! When my truck arrived in Puerto Rico the truck has been driven on 4L an additional 31 miles. The inside of the truck was full of mud. There were fuses taken out and left on floor drivers side. The air conditioner button was broken. The truck would not turn on, an alarm kept going off. I was told to take the truck to 2 different mechanics for estimate at my cost. I took my truck in to Toyota where I was told they observed new electrical tape around the front axel both sides. Messed up the steering column and suspension by being driven on 4L. The truck was leaking from the front end. This truck had always been kept garaged and maintained regularly. The total cost for my damages are over $5000 and Puerto Rico transport claimed that I should file a claim with Crowley as they were not responsible for the damages. Crowley claims they only drove it on the ship and off to file the claim with the transport company. This has been going on since March 26,2025. The bogus insurance now turns out to be as they stated "not an insurance but a coverage", if your car gets any outer damages as far as scratches or so you could file a clsin to see if it's covered. Meaning as long as they deliver you vehicle with no scratches they could remove and damage all other mechanical components of your car and are not responsible for it. The staff is rude and have no knowledge of what they are doing. They give you the run around, waste your time and in the end wipe their hands clean of any responsability. Unless you are willing to take a chance at your vehicle being damage and are financially prepare to sue them for damages, DO NOT USE PUERTO RICO CAR TRANSPORT, worst experience with a company ever!

Your vehicle was transported from Colorado to Florida by UZ Auto Trans, and pictures were taken in Florida showing the vehicle in the same condition as when it was picked up in Colorado. The vehicle was then placed on a Crowley ship for the final leg to Puerto Rico. It is our understanding that you have already been in touch with Crowley.
We do want to clarify some important points regarding the transport and the agreement signed at the time of booking. The Terms of Agreement explain that we are not liable for mechanical issues as these areas are not inspected during pickup or delivery. One of the reasons there is no inspection of the internals of the vehicles is because the drivers are not trained mechanics. They are not able to determine how much life is left on mechanical functions such as an engine, transmission, or suspension. Also, even if they were trained mechanics, the amount of time and the expense incurred to test every function of a vehicle prior to transport would make it not feasible. These exclusions are standard across the industry and are especially important on older vehicles and vehicles with over 200,000 miles such as yours.
We genuinely apologize for the frustration, stress, and inconvenience this situation has caused. We truly value your business and regret that we were not able to meet your expectations in this case.
