Progressive~1 out of 3 great customer service (Unfortunately)

I recently purchased a new car this past Dec 2024
I didn’t have a car for 3 months before. I called them when we were finishing up my cash purchase.
I told the man what I wanted ~full coverage $500 deductible etc.
I took his insurance and I drove away in my brand new 2025 Kona. Fast forward 5 months, when my policy was going to renew the next month.
I took a look at my current insurance and I was not happy! I had been driving my new car with only liability insurance. So I made a call, a woman answered, I told her I needed to change my insurance and why, and said “I’m not insurance smart, so I don’t know what does what”.
She literally said to that “well how can I help you today”? I asked if she heard what I had said~ she said “You ma’am need to tell me what you want not me explain everything to you”! I said Seriously?!? And hung up.
I could call back for a few days~and I’m so happy I waited. The young gentleman that answered the phone was so great and had me at hello! I explained both situations to him, he was very apologetic. I said not to worry~ I’m not angry with him or the company ~just some people that represent Progressive!
About a half hour later, I paid in full for the next 6 months. I got my best 1 out of 3 at least.
I gave them another chance. But I am praying nobody takes advantage of a person AT A DEALERSHIP buying a new car. When I asked for full coverage he gave me liability prices and I didn’t ask the correct questions because I was I. A rush. I’ll do the same thing when 5 months rolls around. Fingers crossed!

stay away from this company

stay away from this company. they are scum. after the accident i contacted them for help. they gave me a replacement car. everything was fine. they got a refund from the company for my damages for my replacement car. they took theirs back. after 2 years they have just sent me an invoice for 11000 pounds to be paid within 14 days. they are frauds and liars.

great people great experience

my partner had an accident and she called pvm they have provided us nice new car and dealt with our claim and settled with in 6 week i will recommend pvm especially a girl name Layla was extremely helpful all the time who kept us updated all the time

Car repair

After my daughter buying her first car with pvm everything was great good experience and very helpful. How ever when Paul said after the 3 month warranty runs out if anything goes wrong just let me know and we will come to an arrangement for repairs. 3 weeks after warranty ran out her clutch slave cylinder & master cylinder gave up the ghost, told Paul & he said yes he’d contribute towards the repair. Called him & Chris no answer Nothing. £486 we’ve had to pay the garage for repairs. I tell you people DO NOT USE PMV MOTORS!!! Disgusted with them. They say they’ll help you but when you call them nobody answers the phone! BE WARNED!!!!

Great Company!

I had the unfortunate experience of a motorcycle accident, and dealing with insurance was the last thing I wanted to handle. Worst company ever

Worst company ever. Gave me a courtesy car and 4 days into it wanted their car back. Then charged me for the courtesy car which I paid. Then 2 years later they sent me a £3,500 invoice im so confused. Please do not deal with this company they are rude and they will not be getting a penny from me.

Excellent customer service and reliable. Emily Jackson provided me with what I wanted with no fuss, she was punctual polite reliable and friendly. I would definitely use this company again and recommend others too.

A bad situation made better by PVM

I was unfortunate enough to be involved in a write-off car collision in September 2023.
My insurance wouldn't provide me with a car, even though I was not at fault, because apparently a write-off wasn't covered in the smallprint.
My insurance company were also really difficult to communicate with and information was sparse and important data went missing.

I contacted PVM and they quickly provided me with a good quality hire car & took over the handling of everything, and finally ensured that my insurance company paid out the money due to me, which is all sorted as of today, early February 2024.

Leyla and Melissa were professional, courteous and efficient at handling my case; providing me with updates and keeping things running smoothly, and I can't thank them enough.

Excellent

From start to finish PVM did not disappoint. Their service is exceptional making the whole process smooth and problem free. They are in regular contact throughout and always explain everything in full detail and a special thanks to Finlay Robinson for his excellent customer service.

Fraudulent mofo's

Told me I had to e-sign to confirm the courtesy car was in good condition, turns out it was a hire agreement, 10 days later a £5000 bill arrived, low life fraudulent liars, keep away from these crooks

Very poor customer service

We were referred to PVM on Monday after collision. The lady from PVM was not helpful and nice at all. It was my first car accident in my life and I have never gone through the procedure involved in it. It was a huge problem for her to talk to me and repeat terms and conditions by which they work. She made up her story about the accident and she did not come back to us when she was admonished by my solicitor to review the case. My opinion: Lack of empathy and customer service skills.
