My experience

Their business model is based on your inability to pay the loan in three months, so you ended paying 3 times the price of the item with their onerous terms. After I paid 4 times my loans before the three months window they denied my next application ironically when I had better financial data and was in good terms with them...Obviously I was not profitable for them...They asked from more docs and proofs than usually ask the bank when you purchase a home..I didn't get that from the beginning what they wanted was to deny my app..

Doesn't Take Fraud Complaints Seriously

I've used this service and paid like clock work and paid off the item I leased.

Several years go by and found myself trying to use their services again and was denied. I was a little confused as to why. So, I dig in and find out that there was a lease opened for over $2,000 at Bed Bath and Beyond in my name. I find that funny because I have never once been in a Bed Bath and Beyond. Never had the inclination or desire to shop there. The customer service representative I spoke with was very dismissive, didn't listen to anything I said and found myself repeating myself multipurpose times and all she could do was continue to ask me how I was going to pay for the account. After finally getting her to understand I have no intention of paying for something I had no part of, she supposedly filed a fraud claim and told me to check my email daily so I could provide more information. It has been over a month and still have not received our heard anything from these joke of a people.

I can't believe that in an age of rampant identity theft, it is that difficult for people to understand that this is a problem and they can't be more proactive in helping customers that have been good with them. Especially a company that's in the middle of a class action lawsuit for mishandling their customers information that is leading to more of the same thing that has led to this review

My pay off with progressive leasing was…

My pay off with progressive leasing was 600 I gave the 400 and they are still charging me my complete 184.00 for the next tow months to total out the 600.00 which is a complete rip off 😡😡 i basically gave away 400 for nothing

They will scam you.

Whatever you need , do not take purchase loan from this people . They will decieve you and keep increasing your money , they want you stuck and keep paying . Seek your loan somewhere else . DO NOT TAKE FROM PROGRESSIVE LEASING. There's no progress with this scam company

Gave me a run around for a month on…

Gave me a run around for a month on verifying my identity, asked for all kinds of personal information. After submitting all info they said they couldn’t verify my identity. Told me to reapply and then did the same thing again, but every phone call thanked me for being a return customer.

DO NOT USE THEM!!!!!!

PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM!!!!!!! I told them at the store I wanted the 90-day deal. THEY HAVE BEEN CHARGING ME ALL THIS MONEY FOR SOMETHING THAT WAS $800 and some change !!!!!! I have paid over $1000 nd they are telling me I have 12 MONTHS TO GO!! EF NO!!!!!!

Now, if I owe you $700 PLUS, and you can magically take off $300 and tell me I can pay $400 to close out my account, that lets me know you are a scam!!! I HAD ALL OF THE MONEY THE DAY I BOUGHT THE COUCH!!!!!!!

The WORST Experience EVER

The WORST Experience EVER! - They are STEALING My Money without my approval. When I ask them to allow me to call in to make a payment, behold! Funds are automatically removed from my account. I called in to make a payment the representative kept verifiying my payment information, SS#, Debit card # but everytime I asked for a confirmation, he'd start the conversation over as if we never reviewed my request. It was so frustrating, maybe he was robot, since robots seems to take over. I've tried numerous times to utilize the online payment system, but it keeps referring me back to the customer service. DO NOT! I REPEAT! DO NOT, purchase anything from American Signature Furniture via Progressive Leasing. They keep trying to force me into a 12month plan for a loveseat costing 3K for a 90- day purchase in exchange for a 12month payment costing 6k. to top things off, the one thing Progressive is perfect with is saying thank you for being a valued customer. I hate what this company is doing to me.

They used creative financing with…

They used creative financing with another company okinus which denied my husband and somehow he still has credit also in his name for the same product I had to use my name for. We had over 700 dollars between both companies being taken from our bank account with that kind of money I absolutely would have bought a new car not a couch. The payment in my contract which I can absolutely print out it's on my phone was meant to be 66.95 a month not having two to three payments removed from our account and twice the amount that was agreed upon each time. Do not trust this company and pay attention when using okinus as well progressive may be right behind them. I will be contacting an attorney as what these companies did are absolutely illegal and fraudulent we went to the bank had the payments declined showed them the contract and had actions taken through our bank as well. If you notice these companies doing this definitely report them to BBB and any other entity both companies have a lot of complaints and seem to respond to the complaints trying to make any excuses for why the people are wrong absolutely not I was supposed to be given at least 90 days to pay in full per the contract they took the huge payments a month after the couch was delivered. I dont believe one month hits the 90 days. Do NOT LET THIS COMPANY DO ANY FINANCING FOR YOU!!!!!

Products from eligible stores and companies hand me down appliances and other merchandise are kept and divided separately for different zip codes, the bad products goes to the minorities while the good products goes to the upper classes, it’s better to save up then go buy, but do a early application with then just to see if you’re eligible before anything in your home breaks down before last minute applying just to see if or what amount you would be eligible for before they deny your application because of their computer payment errors

Was approved then told I wasnt

Was approved for an amount then was told to redo the application then said no options then was told to submit documents which I did then was told that I would be contacted for more verification items this leasing is a joke don't bother wasting your time if I could give a negative star I would.

Not worth it, rude

First they charged my account in full without me asking to, kept changing their story about it, when I got that all sorted I was told I didn’t have to pay anymore, then I did and I was past due, got that sorted and fixed my payments to a more better fitting schedule(I had just moved cross country and was still job hunting) and was told they removed the late fee as an apology for everything, but this morning I got a at 7am waking me up telling me I’m past due and would still receive phone calls, weekly. I explained to the woman and she said basically everything I was told was a lie, but she was very rude about it, not to mention this call woke me up at 7am so I was also a bit cranky. When I asked if they could not call me every week as this was not was I was told she said “okay we are now legally not allowed to call you” and abruptly ended the phone call.

My scenario may be an isolated incident but I will NOT be using them ever again.

Used to be a loyal customer but not anymore

I used to be one of the number one customers with Prog Leasing. These use to have US based customer service but now it is over seas. That is where the problems started. The customer service was bad and only got worse. They won't let me speak to a supervisor and an agent committed fraud so now I get to have my lawyers get involved. I used Prog leasing at least 10 to 15 times over the course of 10 years or so but I guess with there new business practices customer service and illegal transactions do not matter to them.

I been using progressive for a long time i have had many leases now all of a sudden I have to verify and send documents every time I send the requested documents im asked for something different this has been going on for the past 4 months and I still can't get my identity verified there supposably no manager to speak to about this or escalate the situation I'm highly disappointed and won't longer be a costumer

I got a loan thru progressive n paid it off in the 90 day plan. No interest!! Yaaa my experience was great everyone was very respectful helpful n very professional!! I would recommend this company to anyone that needs a loan fast. Thank you progressive leasing!!!!
