Review summary

Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Consumers express dissatisfaction with their orders, citing issues from the moment of purchase to the delivery stage. People report difficulties in obtaining refunds, even when products do not meet expectations or are not as described. The lack of responsiveness and unhelpful attitude of customer service is a recurring concern for many consumers. Furthermore, reviewers have voiced concerns about spam and potentially fraudulent activities on the platform. The delivery service is another area of concern, with consumers reporting issues such as lost or undelivered items. Don't buy from them

If you buy something from them and there's anything that's not as you expected, from the greatest to the most minor issue, forget about a return. There's no one who to talk to and nothing to talk about.

So just buy anywhere else where you can return and or exchange easily, especially if it's completely off and for sure if you just dislike it.

I purchased a Mac Duggal "New without tags" dress per seller. The photos she used were stock photos except for inside the dress with size tag. I was on vacation when I received it but my daughter confirmed it was a dress. When I returned from trip, I noticed that the entire dress hem has been cut and does not match the stock photos, nor the designer's website pics. It was past 72 hours; however after several messages back and forth with Cus. Srv., I was credited a partial credit to be used on Poshmark purchases. Customer Service held the buyer liable for not adhering to the 72 hour acceptance rule, however they did not hold the seller liable for deceptive advertising. I just wanted to return the dress that was much shorter now and doesn't match advertised photos. They closed case indicating I did not file a claim. Will not buy anything else from them, EVER!!

I was the victim of a scammer impersonating and targeting me via Poshmark. I try to be very careful. I reported the incident to Poshmark and was essentially victim blamed. They I do not feel actually did anything with the report and did not seem phased that their platform had been used in this way. My advice, do not be vulnerable and use Poshmark. They do not care , why should you open yourself up and allow them such large cuts of sales for the privilege.

I've found many gems on Poshmark

I am astounded by the negative reviews for Poshmark. Out of 100 purchases, 1 of mine was bad. The rest were fantastic. I've found real gems on Poshmark for a total bargain! Brand new Gorski jacket at a huge discount, a used Moncler jacket in excellent condition for a competitive price, and many other great finds.

This is a strange review because the authentication process is in place to protest the consumer—however I’m not sure they have experts who know how to authenticate a piece. I could tell the item the seller had was real from pictures alone. I had the same piece and it got stolen. The designer only made very few and for a short season. It would be very difficult to duplicate. Poshmark did a rush job and cancelled my order. Probably my first and last time ordering anything from them. Definitely not experts.

Poshmark is like a Nazi

Poshmark is like a Nazi. They do not communicate with a buyer in a timely manner. They send template emails and only give them 2-3 days to resolve an issue. Once they and only THEY decide a case is solved, you are dead meat. They block you from communicating with buyer and that is it. No phone number for Customer Service and that should be a red flag. If you try to email them again about the same issue, they respond with the same template response. They are all bots. I do NOT recommend them AT ALL. Stay away.

I find this one of the worst places to sell on. The customers are awful. They pay pennies for items you list lots of detail and lots of photos and then they complain about it. An example is a Kate Spade Wallet it had some wear which showed in the photos. The person paid $10 yes, $10. I made hardly anything on this sale. She complained about how there was wear yet there was nine photos and a video. I just feel like the customers aren’t like what they used to be last year. I keep having this happening and I never had this before. I’ve been selling on this site for years. I just feel like the customers are now lower quality so I’m going to another platform to sell. I’d rather throw my stuff out then to deal with these people

This was my first Poshmark order—and…

This was my first Poshmark order—and I’m so sorry I did it.

The Poshmark app says my CPAP mask was delivered. The tracking link states:
"Your item has been delivered to an agent and left with an individual at the address at 11:43 a.m. on June 27, 2025 in MIAMI, FL 33166."

That is untrue.
We have a Ring camera aimed directly at our mailbox. There was no mail delivered at all on June 27. Our regular USPS carrier confirmed this.

I contacted Poshmark support, and this was their reply:

“We are sorry to hear you have not received your order, ‘ResMed AirFit F20 Mask - New in sealed package. Size large.’ According to the tracking status, the package was delivered on Friday, June 27, 2025. Can you please check around your house and with your neighbors or mail carrier to see if it can be located?”

Well, I did check. I reviewed five days of Ring camera footage. No sign of any delivery. The package was also not listed in our USPS Informed Delivery, the official service that shows incoming mail and packages.

I’ve reached out to the seller kindly to ask: what can be done?

It looks like I lost on this Poshmark purchase—which will probably be my last.

I purchased a pair of shoes which were characterized as worn once. On receipt, I realized that the interior of the shoes had been worn through to the underlining. Both shoes at the toe were separated from the sole. I contacted Poshmark immediately without response. It is a shame that they can get away with this.

He says that he lost them so now trying to contact Poshmark for a refund but doesn’t look like it’s gonna happen if anything changes I’ll change my review. EDIT I did!! I did receive notice from my bank that a refund is being processed from Poshmark.

I'm so embarrassed I ever bought anything from this site. Don't bother buying anything designer or branded. Sellers just lie about what they have and send fake items. Poshmark does not discipline them in any way. Sellers know they can get away with it so they do it. You will be cheated.

Dishonest sellers and Terrible customer service. Poshmark is charging for every transaction 20% . It’s hideous. So of course if the item was wrong or other reason for return was raised they say no you can’t return but you can sell it 😂 what a surprise. Scammers !!!

Purchased a pair of sneakers, never received. Reached out to Poshmark customer service and they ghosted me. Sent them an email 3 days and they said if you still haven’t received the product reach out on the 6.26.25 and they didn’t respond. I will NEVER use this platform to purchase ANYTHING EVER AGAIN.

Waste of time and effort to order from this company

First time I ordered from Poshmark. I was sent a wrong item. Contacted the company and seller. Used up a lot of time ad effort to prove I had received wrong item. eventually I was told I received someone else's item and another person received my item. Was sent a return label to send the package I received to correct person and the person that received my item was asked to send my item to me. Spent more time getting wrong package ready to mail to correct person, and shipped it off. Well the person who received my item was not so honest and decided to keep my item so I never did receive what I had ordered. Had to contact seller again and was told "it's out of my hands", you need to contact Posmark directly. No accountability from the seller even though they created the problem by putting wrong shipping labels on package. Seller knew I returned the package through the shipping label information because I received a message thanking me for doing so. Seller knew other person did not mail my package out but never reached out to offer a refund or advise me what to do to get my credit. What a waste of time. I don't recommend this company or their sellers they are not to be trusted.

Never Poshmark!!

Tried to open an account to sell an item. Within 15 minutes I received an alert from my financial institution asking if a $500 charge to CODAshop.com was legit. It was not. My card was locked immediately. The whole experience caused stress and inconvenience. Needless to say, deleted the account immediately. Never again.
