Originally this was a 5 star review, but I confronted the reviewer and said it’s not a review of Polotno sdk - it was a review of Polotno Studio. I said I’ll be flagging it for removal via email because the review is not relevant and fair. This person doesn’t even have an active account with Polotno SDK. I’ve added that I won’t be issuing any incentive for the review because as I later learned this violates the policy of Trustpilot. The response I got was ‘SCAMMER’ and the review changed to 1 star. I’ve got back to him saying OK I’ll pay 50 bucks even without review if he can just show the account which he obviously couldn’t as he doesn’t have one. Feeling this initial 50 bucks offer will haunt this profile for a while.
Very impressed with robust API, documentation and support!
Our business needs have required a lot of custom implementation which has been a very pleasant experience with their robust documentation and API. Communication with the developers has also been more than I could've hoped for! All this paired with fair and straightforward pricing means we'll be using Polotno for the foreseeable future!

There would nothing wrong if they did just ask for 5 star and review, but offering 50$ discount? I think trust can’t be purchased like this. It would be against Trustpilot policies.

Hi, I'm Misha from Polotno, I've sent out those emails. I've stopped the campaign since then and replied to every response that NO discount / gift card is going to be issued now or in the future.
Had this Turstpilot policy been made clearly visible, I wouldn't offer any incentive. No one reads 432 pages of buried T&Cs for every service they sign up for every single day.
What's twisted about Anon's review is that they don't see anything wrong with asking for 5 stars. Why would I even ask people for 5 stars if their experience was anything but that? I want folks sharing their honest thoughts. And I was willing to incentivize time invested – many of our customers are execs and founders spending thousands of dollars on the product. Claiming that a $50 gesture is buying trust and corrupting morality on $2–10k annual bill means having no real understanding of what Polotno is and the kind of crowd it serves.
To sum up:
1. I wish incentive terms were clearly communicated by TrustPilot.
2. I've cancelled the campaign and scrapped the offer.
3. I should have used a less aggressive email copy – I have overrelied on AI in that department.
4. Ethically, I don’t see an issue.
Polotno SDK is fantastic
Polotno SDK is fantastic. Getting the HTML version up and running took under a minute. When I needed deeper control, I switched to the React SDK. It’s a bit more involved but offers basically unlimited customization. I love how flexible and developer‑first this product is.

Very easy to set up even if you are not in one of the supported platforms (Svelte)
The simple trial system allows you to work internally building all your app without having to worry about fees when you are still definining the rest of your project which is a releave as there are allways delays <3

Feels like Lego blocks for building a design tool
Polotno SDK has been a total game-changer for me. It feels like working with Lego blocks — everything is modular, customizable, and super easy to repurpose for whatever kind of app you’re building. I used it to build a custom design editor for my own project, and it slotted in perfectly.
