Beware of their awful return policy…

Beware of their awful return policy before buying anything. They say you can return for a refund for “any reason”; however, you cannot do anything more than open the box and even then you also have to pay to send it back. So when you actually try their product and figure out you don’t like it, you cannot return it and are stuck with it. But when you contact them they will offer you discounts to buy more stuff to go along with the product you don’t want. Very disappointed.

Lighting fast resolution

I submitted my issue on the Warranty form and got an email from Diana right away! I replied back to her with the image I put in the form just so she could connect what my issue was. As soon as I sent the image, I got an order for replacement immediately! It was incredible and so fast.

I’ve had my Pod for almost a year now

I’ve had my Pod for almost a year now. It started to leak a little, so I reached out to customer service. They responded right away and sent me replacement parts. A different problem occurred 11 months into ownership, and they just replaced my will ice pod. I did pay for the extended warranty. I am now looking at their extended/larger pod to purchase. Been very happy with the product and customer service.

Don't trust the warranty

This company hides fine print in a warranty that isn't easily available from the website when ordering their product. The website just simply says they will replace the chiller if it breaks. My broke in less than a year. They voided my warranty because I changed the filter every other month instead of monthly. This feels like false advertisement since this is literally what the website says:

"Does the Pod Chiller have warranty?

Yes! Every chiller comes with a 1 year warranty, so if you experience any issues or it breaks, we'll simply send you a new one! The warranty can also be extended for a small fee at checkout, so you are covered up to 2 years."

I would not recommend a company like this if this is how they market to people and then hit them with a bunch of legal fine print that wasn't advertised.

Ricardo answered my call promptly and made the entire experience simple and fast.
I had many questions about every part of the system and available accessories and options. He answered every question without delay( he knew his product) and also comped me some accessories that will be great to have.
So far I have been impressed with my IcePod experience and Ricardo’s customer service!!

This product is garbage and customer service is worse

This product is garbage. I had sent two emails to return it and then spent one hour on a chat with a customer service agent who sent me in circles. It is not worth the trouble. There are so many better companies and options out there. What a waste!!!! Plus I still need to now pay to send it back to them and hope it gets approved for refund after they “inspect”. Please don’t buy from them.

Long pod and Chiller

I purchase the long pod Chiller combination unit. My unit was damaged in transfer by UPS and stop working 30 days after I got it. The company worked with me to get my Chiller replaced. I purchased the warranty which made things much smoother. I would highly recommend doing the same. Worth the money. Their customer service was friendly, honest and always answered within 24 hours via email. 100% would buy from them again

Great Product and Costumer Service

I’ve been a customer of The Pod Company from their beginning. Their products are awesome and the customer service is just as great. They are quick to reply and settle any equipment issues you are having. Wade was awesome in helping me get my water pump/filtration issue solved. After they making sure there was no user issues he immediately sent me a new filtration system. A+

Avoid Pod Company at all costs

Avoid Pod Company at all costs. Deceptive business practices. Borderline scam. No customer support and products that are cheaply made and broke after just 6 days of normal use - with no ability to return the defective products.

Bought the pro

Bought the pro, and the 12 pack of ice bricks. Even bought some ice molds elsewhere. I can't get the temp below 65⁰ F. Basically you have to buy the chiller for $800 to even get it colder. I should have read the 1 to 2 star reviews before purchasing. What a gimmick!

Plunged and no Return!

I upgraded my $38 pod to the Pod Pro. I can't afford the chiller so I rigged a DIY and now I've ordered additional accessories! I'm SO EXCITED about my set-up and how easy and friendly the service was! This pod is well built, sturdy and easy to set up an maintain.
