A Perfect Day!
Steve was the perfect guide. It was LOVELY to be driven around all day and see so many family run wineries. Not only was Steve knowledgeable about the vineyards, he was also so generous with recommendations for anything you wanted to explore in the entire valley. What a beautiful day! Five star experience. Girls trip to wine country
We had a group of four for the tour. The bus was clean and comfortable, and very pleasant. Our guide was communicative and funny. He clearly knew everyone at the wineries we went to, and made it feel like we were really getting the inside scoop. Had some delicious wines and they made it very easy for us to get some and bring it home. Everyone presented their wine clubs, but didn't overly pressure. A really lovely day with nice people and great wines.

Great way to see Napa wineries
My wife and I wanted to do a wine tour in Napa but were after something a little more boutiuqe than the wine train. We've done similar wine tours in other regions and picked Platypus as they had some great reviews. The whole day was wonderful. The pickup was well communicated and on time, the bus is very spacious and comfortable and the guide was a lot of fun. We went to 3 great wineries and had a nice picnic lunch at the second.

Top-Notch Service on Our First Sonoma Wine Tour
It was my first wine tour in Sonoma, California, and we were glad we chose to do it with Platypus.
The tours were great, but it was the quality of service that really stood out. They replied to my emails promptly before the tour. I was also delighted to receive a WhatsApp message from them a day before the tour with the estimated time of arrival—and they arrived punctually. It was reassuring to be kept updated, so I didn’t have to worry.
Lastly, a shoutout to Chris Largent for being a helpful and fun tour guide!
Highly recommended and I will go with them again for my next visit.

We were picked up at our hotel and our tour guide was very kind & informative. We enjoyed chatting with all the people on the bus and made many connections. The wineries chosen were excellent. The first winery was very informative and the wine selections were wonderful. The second winery offered a delicious lunch and our hostess was enlightening, funny and very down to earth. The final winery was smaller and had some distinctive wines to taste. This is a wonderful tour to take. You meet people from all around the world, taste excellent wines from small, artisan winemakers and learn of the history of the Napa area.
