This is a good course, however some of these more recent topics I do not understand by listening to Greg alone. A lot of the time people on Youtube will explain a topic a little more clearly, and then that is when it clicks. I'm having particular trouble with this "Radio Communications" section,

After watching many You tube videos in an effort to self train, I decided to pay for the Pilot Institute training. Although the You tube videos had some good source. Greg breaks it down and covers areas in a well laid out reviewable approach. You can easily review areas of concern if the topic is hard to understand and the sample tests although not exact as none are, cover a variety of information and are extremely helpful.

I am actually probably an anomaly because I do not own a drone even though I recently passed the Part 107 exam. I need to learn good basics and how to build on those for complex real life applications.

This is a great corse very educational. Only wish it was a little more geared to Recerational pilots. Still a outstanding experence.

Since I've been watching these courses I've gained more understanding of how to fly a drone or UAS. I have owned a basic drone for several years and have logged a lot of time flying it. Greg brings up a lot of good points about honing your skills as a pilot. The video or organized in a great way to help everyone learn.

I came across a free "Ultimate Guide to Private Pilot License" on Instagram and decided to give it a try. I thoroughly went through all the videos and sections in this guide, which I found to be a beautifully constructed overview and summary of everything you need to know about obtaining your Private Pilot License. It provides comprehensive information on the general principles involved, as well as smaller details that you can explore further through your own research, such as medical certificates, ratings, different licenses, and suggestions for finding a suitable flight school.

The instructor was knowledgeable and easy to follow, but the course leaned too much on lecture. I would’ve liked more step-by-step instruction and better use of visual aids to reinforce the material.

Greg presents well, has the right cadence and tone. the segments are all small in size which makes it feel less overwhelming. It's just well put together.
