NEVER AGAIN! THIEF!

Mike wrote an email to everyone stating that he had spent the prize money. He should be locked up!

What a scammer

In week 14 of the 2014 NFL season the commissioner sends out an email to everyone stating that he doesn't have the money to pay out all the prizes and Phenoms will be shutting down. What a scam. Clearly he had been planning this all along, probably walked away with a couple million in the process. Do not trust this website or Mike Zangrilli.

Well, the TrustPIlot logo is now meaningless to me

I thought the certifications on this company's website might actually mean something, like that I wouldn't be scammed out of the almost $500 I gave them, and even worse, the countless hours I spent managing my fantasy football teams this season, thinking I was actually competing for a prize when I was actually just wasting my time in the most embarrassing way possible. Thanks. Thanks so much.

Kept the money

Owner Mike Zangrilli emailed a notice of his company shutting down and stated he would not be able to honor payment agreements. Said only 20-40% of money would be avaiable. He ended the notice with "I can only ask for your forgiveness". So ultimately no payments will be made and his disappearing act will occur even faster. How could your site rate this owner and company with an 8.5.
What a Disgrace!

So far so good

This is my first league with phenoms but so far everything has been good. The customer service is great and the site we use for basketball is also very good and user friendly. No complaints as of now.

Great Fantasy Basketball Leagues

Yahoo killed their basketball and hockey leagues and I spent hours trying to find a site like this. It's well-managed, manually by Mike and others, great service. Runs on multiple platforms or sites, but it didn't hamper the experience, I actually enjoyed the different sites because they were probably the best or one of the best websites available (drafted on ESPN, League season on Fantrax). Very cool, good prices, I'll be back.

Well done..

Until this past baseball season I have never been involved in any fantasy sports leagues; thus I don't have any way of comparing Phenoms fantasy experience with those of an other. Despite that inability I am extremely impressed with my Phenoms experience. Money transactions are seamless and quick, the data that I need for player analysis is easily obtained, ability to communicate between owners within the league is made easy, and most importantly accurate up to the minute status of all teams within the league.

Not worth it.

Horrible league. Confusing platform. Wasnt able to draft and was locked in with mediocre players. When i tried to trade i was denied by the commissioner. Dont waste your money. Find another league.

Fun but Boring

The success and failure of a season is totally dependent upon the draft and injury luck. Trades are impossible. Talent diluted in the waivers.

My suggestion...invent new methodology for trading. Need a way to barter back and forth with single individual. Not in public forum. Not in personal emails. Just an idea...but maybe a private, discussion thread between two people to see if deal can be worked out. The biggest obstacle to making trades is the fear of "leaving money on the table".

Website and customer service are great!

This is a great fantasy site.

Phenomsff is legit. The number one most important thing: you'll get your money quick when you win it. You don't have to worry about getting paid. And Phenoms has the best payout structure anywhere. Another great thing is the site's manager is diligent about not allowing collusion trades. I've read some reviews complaining about the interface... it's just fine as long as you're not an idiot. There's nothing wrong with it. Another complaint I've read is people wanting 6 playoff teams for 12 team leagues; screw 6 playoff teams for 12 team leagues. You want to make the playoffs? Draft a team that's can make the top third. If you expect the top half to make the playoffs, you might as well get your friends together and start flipping coins. I'll never play my fantasy football anywhere else.

Great experience overall!

The league site page is full of information and very easy to navigate. I love the deposit that must be placed for the following year to dissuade someone from tanking then leaving. The presence of a neutral commissioner is also welcome.
