Don't be fooled by the site
If I could give 0 stars (or negative stars) I would and I haven't received my Tenny! I ordered him way back in Jan and emailed the company many times out of excitement. Each time, "Alex" would respond. After 3 months of waiting-I had purchased "Preview" (thank goodness) and still hadn't received those pictures. "Alex" said there were delays because of the fires in CA. I was never informed and had I not emailed them, I wouldn't have known. After another month, I finally saw Preview pictures of the "completed" plush and they were HORRIBLE!!! Nothing like the loads of photos I carefully chose. It was the biggest let down. When I resubmitted "corrections" I was informed there would be MORE delays. During that time, I had contacted other companies who were empathetic. I expressed my desire to scrap the horrible project and just process a refund and "Alex" responded with "I'll get back to you on this. I even told him I'd be writing reviews everywhere I can! It's a scam!

Do not trust Petslify
I ordered my plush in Nov 2024; however, as of July 2025, the product has not been delivered. Per the customer representative I spoke to, the plush is still in production. I do not think that the company has any intention of delivering the product. I have asked for a refund multiple times, but the company refuses to comply.

Predatory, Heartless, and Incompetent — Avoid Petslify at All Costs
I cannot stress this enough: do not give your money to Petslify. This company preys on grief, exploits trust, and hides behind vague, robotic customer service responses while taking months to deliver — if they deliver at all.
I placed an order for a custom plush memorializing my sister's beloved cat who had recently passed — a deeply emotional and vulnerable time for my family. Petslify’s website promised a production window of 8–9 weeks. I paid in full on January 22. It is now nearly five months later, and the product still hasn’t arrived.
Throughout this time, I was repeatedly told my order was “still in production.” Week after week, month after month, that was the only update I received — no timelines, no accountability, just the same form letter reworded slightly by someone named Alex. At 12 weeks, then 14, then 16, I escalated. I was met with copy-pasted apologies and excuses ranging from “high order volume” to “LA fires” and even “the holidays” — in January.
When I filed a chargeback out of sheer desperation — after being ignored and misled for four months when the production time should have been 8 weeks — suddenly, like magic, they claimed the plush was halfway done. But instead of completing and sending it, they held it hostage, demanding that I cancel the chargeback first. When I spoke to my credit card company, I learned that Petslify hadn't even responded to their outreach, making it impossible to resolve on my end. Petslify's refusal to take action or communicate professionally is what pushed me to file a chargeback in the first place, then when I try to cancel the chargeback so that they will actually send the plush to my sister, my credit card tells me that they can't reverse a chargeback if the merchant doesn't formally respond to them, which Petslify they refused to do.
This company is fully aware that many of its customers are ordering memorials for lost pets — moments of deep emotional pain — and they use that grief to string people along, trusting that they’ll stay quiet and wait endlessly because “it’s custom” or “takes time.” But 20 weeks is not time — it’s abuse. Their production delays are not rare exceptions; they are the norm. Just read the endless complaints on Reddit, BBB, and review sites: customers waiting months beyond the advertised timeline, being gaslit into silence, and in many cases, never receiving anything at all.
This isn’t just poor customer service — it’s emotional exploitation. Petslify takes your money when you’re vulnerable, then ghosts you with impunity. Their canned apologies and unfulfilled promises are as insulting as they are empty.
If you’ve already placed an order and feel similarly deceived, I strongly encourage you to file a chargeback. It’s the only way to hold Petslify accountable.
I hope this review serves as a warning: Petslify does not care about your grief, your time, or your trust. What they’re doing isn’t just unethical — it’s reprehensible

I worried my photo wasn't high-res enough, but Petslify's support team walked me through submitting a better one. The final plush of my dog, Benny, is so lifelike it shocked my whole family! The eyes were done beautifully. It sits proudly on my couch now.

Not convinced this is a legitimate company. They just charge your credit card and then never provide the physical product. What they do is email a photo of something that looks nothing like what you ordered. Still trying to get a refund after several months.

The plush looks exactly like my mom’s…
The plush looks exactly like my mom’s beloved miniature poodle who passed away in December. The hair is crazy accurate.
It looks like her dog is laying on her bed - it’s wild.
The only thing I’d say is- their delivery time was about double what they quoted.
They quote 7-9 weeks and it took almost 4 months.
The customer service does answer when you message though and every time I asked for an update I did get one.
They’re super nice people and frankly I would have happily paid double for what they gave me. Amazing quality. Thank yall!

Lack of communication and extended wait time
I had to put my 12 year old husky down February 7th and soon after I saw an add to have a stuffed replica of him so I thought that would be nice. I placed an order around the end of February and was given 6 to 9 weeks for delivery. I gave them some grace as i received an email around the time i was supposed to receive the plush saying they are backed up due to a fire. Well, it is now the end of June and I still have not recieved the plush nor have I received any helpful response from an email letting me know when I will receive it. They do not have a phone number to talk to anyone so its really just a waiting game to find out whether you will or won't get what you paid for.

Worth it!
Honestly, I wasn't expecting it to be as incredible as it is. I planned on ordering from a different company, but when I saw their price, I found Petslify instead. Not only was it almost half the price, they were awesome to work with, and the finished product is amazing! Looks just like my daughter's cat - albeit healthier :-). It did take a bit longer than expected-but they emailed updates and it was worth the wait!

I decided to purchase a custom plush from Petslify after my sweet GoldenRetriever Bailey passed away. When I opened the box, I was completelyamazed. The plush replica of Bailey was incredibly detailed and realistic.They captured everything perfectly, from Bailey's soft golden fur to theplayful expression in her eyes. Every stitch was done with obvious care,and the fur feels unbelievably soft and comforting. Holding it truly feltlike hugging my beloved Bailey again. Terrible company
What a terrible company. We ordered in December 2024. It is now June 2025 and we still haven’t received our order. Christmas passed, my dad’s birthday passed and Father’s Day is about to pass and this company continues to make excuses as to why it hasn’t been shipped. My dog didn’t come out ANYWHERE near the quality as advertised. I asked for a refund because the website says “100% GUARANTEED” they tried to “fix it” and then it still didn’t come out, after not hearing from them for over 6 weeks they reach out, after not responding right after a week (I was getting my phone replaced) they “shipped” my pet and REFUSED TO REFUND ME. Even though I reached out BEFORE the shipping date confirmation. A “7-9 week delivery” took close to 6 months and my 8 year old son would have done a better job. GROSLY MISLEADING! RUN RUN RUN!
My dog is GREY - THEY MADE IT BLACK - its eyes have white round it from the terrible stitching. And ALL they did for the fix- was make the already black fur darker - and bring in the white eye seams (which are still visible) so it looks like the dog has white eyeliner around its eyes- it’s NOT GOOD AT ALL!

I reached out repeatedly and heard back each time with a form email including more excuses and telling me I needed to be patient as they had too many orders to fulfill. At the same time, I continued to receive emails with offers of sales and discounts to new clients. I reached about this also and was not offered any compensation or discount or refund, so after five months, I called Visa and got my money back. Thanks for compounding my grief and pretending that you give AF about people while profiting off their grief and showing zero integrity as a business. The web page is so convincing isn't it? I'm moving on to other options and I highly urge othr potential customers to save your money, time and patience and go elsewhere.
