The manual was useless

The manual was useless. Many parts are never mentioned and photos are not for this trike. What took us three hours could have been done in one. Video helped but moved too quickly.

Be trying to get help with returning…

Be trying to get help with returning bike. Chat person just stopped conversation so I emailed them what do you know they stopped responding. I’m a handicap senior I told them I don’t want to waste my money on something that broke before using it. Then tell me I’m responsible for all returning fees plus restock fee plus if it isn’t packaged in the same condition it was sent. Well I’m sorry I did plan on keeping this trike I had no intention on having any issues so with that said the packaging is tore open there’s no way to send it back in same shipping condition. So with that said I loose money and it sounds like a lot What a nightmare

Waiting for our e-trike, FedEx tracking says it will arrive late because of weather issues, and yet it took them 3 days just to get it out of Calif. Here's a tip: Chose another carrier, Old Dominion Freight Lines would be my choice. Their team drivers can get LTL freight coast to coast in 4+ days. I know this because I retired from them after 12 yrs. They're a great company, FedEx sucks, their rates may be somewhat cheaper, a case of getting what you pay for

Buyer Beware

My experience after my $2,800 purchase was so bad, I cancelled my order.

My credit rating is over 800 and this is a first for me. I am presently awaiting resolution.

I see that their customer satisfaction rating is in decline. I wish I had seen that before purchasing.

keeping your word and getting the job done. your word is very important to…

Keeping your word is very important to me and I must say that this company is very good at doing that. I give them five stars because I trust them and they keep their word. I had a few issues with my trike. They were on. I purchased my trike I had it within 7 days delivered from California. Whenever I call they answer their phone If I call after hours and leave a message they return my calls. That's very important to me. I feel very comfortable in giving my friends and family their information to do business with them. One of the gentlemen that I speak with often his name is Mike. Mike always keeps his word. They are very nice people including Emily and their tech people.. I Don't remember all of their their names however, whoever you might deal with they're very polite and they get the job done.

Web site was easy to use. Delivery was prompt and undamaged. Assembly was straightforward, following directions from manual. Only concern was calibration of the speedometer. One email to customer support and solved problem. Customer support response was quick.

Well-appointed and made. Easy to ride.

The Siesta Trike was delivered on-time and well crated. The assembly video instructions and manual shipped with the trike were a bit sketchy but the online manual was much more complete. Assembly was relatively easy. Its well made and has lots of great features for the price. Hydraulic brakes would help. It performs well and is easy to ride. 5 stars.

The Best One

I am an 82 year old man who converted to a 3 wheel e-Trike for added safety and comfort in my riding.
The Perraro Siesta semi recumbent is the best 3 wheel Trike that I found after several weeks of searching, which involved many websites and videos, several bike shops, several test rides of different bikes and the return of one purchase during a 7 day trial period. During this process I learned a lot. This bike/trike checks All the boxes important to me: 20” x 4” Tires; Step Through Height 14”; Seat height; Handle bar 45 degree sweep; 750 W Rear-Drive Motor; Fenders; Cushioned saddle with Backrest; 6-Speed Shifter; Strong Disc Brakes on all 3 wheels; Thumb Throttle; 5 Level Pedal Assist; Lights front and rear with Brake light; Very Readable LCD Display; Reverse gear for parking. The most important feature to me is the Semi Recumbent construction which places the seat closer to the rear axle, changing the center of gravity and increasing the comfort of both sitting and pedaling.
The Customer Service is as Outstanding as the trike; Courteous, Friendly, Helpful and Honest.
The Perraro Siesta semi recumbent is the Perfect e-trike for me!

Packaging was damaged exposing what turned out to be the left fork. Missing a few bolts connecting front fender to trike. Product did not appear as finished as I feel it should such as areas missing paint. Quality control matters. So does packaging. Would it be too much for the anxious buyer to see his brand new purchase coming out of a new box instead of a used one held together with two tie down straps and 2 rolls of packing tape covering the entire box? Embarassing..not a memorable moment to photograph but as evidence for complaint.

I got the box

I got the box. It was not a brand new bike like I asked for. There were all kinds of parts taken away from it. We have now tried to piecemeal the original bike you sent me with the new box and I’m still having issues. The battery isn’t working in the new bike now, but when I put it in the old bike, it still works. I am beyond frustrated. I don’t understand how I paid over $2000 and still do not have a bike that actually works correctly.

New Trike Problematic, But Support Rectified

The crated trike arrived and I began to assemble it. The instructions didn't always illustrate the parts I was working with (i.e., it seemed old). The first video I accessed was better but also seemed antiquated. I never did locate the trike's serial number. It was were the manual indicated it'd be. The second video was much better (it showed the trike like mine). However, some things were never addresses (e.g., the front fork springs). How to properly use them?
Anyhow after I finally got it assembled as designed, a big let down because at the moment of truth — turning it on — it didn't/wouldn't. Troubleshooting didn't help. Even eventually troubleshooting with Mike, the Perraro support rep. was problematic. After several attempts (i.e., via FaceTime sessions) trying to get the Polar to turn on, it (Polar) was warranted in need of replacement. Another base model was sent. It seemed like it was one sitting around and worked on. One bar that the rear basked sits on was bowed, and the rear brake calipers were very tight beyond adjustable. I had to get a bike/trike mechanic to remove the calibers and replace them with the calibers from the original base model. He indicated the calibers were "worked on". So, it cost me over $150 to get this Polar e-trike up and running.
I was, in the end, very relieved that the electrical system turned on the first time. However, the rear brakes making loud noise (due to the caliber predicament) stalled the process again (as mentioned above).
I've since been riding and learning the trike and am enjoying it.
