I will not hesitate to bring Buddy back to his second home and also to recommend France…

A dreadful experience as a pet sitter
As a pet sitter, I had a deadful experience. At some point, the Pawshake platform had serious technical issues. As a consequence, neither my ID, nor my IBAN code were recognised (I never changed them, thus I had no responsibility for their issues). Instead of helping me, I was insulted and eventually my account was blocked. I tried for mote than 6 months to explain that THEY had technical issues. However, I was offended again and Pawshake never
reinstated my account. Last but not least, they kept all my sensible data, without deleting them. I do suggest to pet sitters to use other platforms.

Unfortunately, the use of inappropriate language, refusal to take ownership of managing your profile, and the inability to provide the necessary documentation to our payment provider regarding your eligibility to offer services in Belgium have led to the suspension of your account.
Although you hadn’t previously requested account deletion, based on this review, we understand you wish it to be done, and we have actioned it accordingly. All associated data has been permanently removed from our servers.

I was looking for dog care which I have been unsuccessful finding before. Other sites require you to sign up to monthly or annual subscriptions which I didn’t need / want. Pawshake allows you to find dog care (pet care) with a simple booking charge (£10 or so). The site was easy to use and I found Simon on here who I am over the moon with!

Great cat sitter
I booked Scarlett on short notice as I was called for jury duty. She is professional and kind and my 4 cats took to her rightaway. She looked after my cats for 2 days and was on standby if need be which was a huge relief. She sent lots of pictures as well. Highly recommended!

Terrible platform
Hi I used Pawshake last year for a sitter and again this year for my lovey dog . I have no issue with the service provided by the sitter last year and gave a 5 star review. My issue is with the platform. This year I sent 6 separate messages to sitters who came up as available, all but 1 refused the booking due to other bookings ( can’t they update their calendar??). 1 sitter actually increased their price from the quoted price and then refused the booking. This platform needs some work to make it more customer friendly ! Other platforms allow requesters to upload their request once and sends to all available providers who can then revert to the requester ! This platform is time consuming and cumbersome for the requester ! Very frustrated and won’t be using this platform again !
