Shipment was delayed several days past promise date which caused us to not have it for an event that we bought it for.
Pictures show a base on it but its an option for another $169.00. All you get without the base is a metal frame you can screw down.
I will by my next one somewhere else.
I did put it together, and without being able to use it it appears to be sturdy, but until I can use it not sure.

The wind-resistant umbrella has survived 3 kids, 2 dogs, and a inflatable flamingo attack. I'm obsessed with how the fabric wipes clean (tested with popsicle stains). Finally a "fancy" outdoor thing that's actually family-proof!

Our uneven concrete was ruining umbrella bases. PatiosLife's rep suggested the modular deck tiles + weighted base. GENIUS! Now our umbrella stays put. Wife says it's the first home project I didn't mess up

At 52, I wanted shade without climbing ladders. The cantilever umbrella was perfect! The crank handle is smooth enough for my arthritis. Delivery guy even helped unpack it. Mr. Whiskers now naps there all day instead of my flower beds!

I bought the 10ft cantilever umbrella with the heavy-duty base, and let me tell you—this is THE setup. The umbrella itself is top quality, with thick fabric and an easy-to-use crank system. But the real MVP? The base.
