I have had a 96781 Timer for a while now. Resetting it for the summer reminded me that
+ its much better built than certain well-known competitors and has useful features like reverting to auto after a manual time has been used.
- The instruction leaflet is very poor, leaving out some important information, especially in the 'How Often' section (dosn't tell you for example that you have to select each day of the week individually before watering occasions - says "1 is every day 2 every other day etc" Not so.) Why is nobody able to produce a clear and complete instruction leaflet for digital products ? (Honourable exeption, BT cordless phones. Look there, Orbit, to see how it can be done !)

I had placed two orders within 3 minutes of each other on May 30th. I realized I forgot an item and placed the second order for the forgotton item. Since the 1st order qualified for free shipping, I emailed customer support and asked that they ship the two orders together and I asked credit for the shippig charge on the 2nd order.
They responded "There is a 2 -3 hour window to make changes, after that our system cannot make changes". I replied, telling them it was 3 minutes between orders, but there reponse was "Nothing we can do". - GIve me a break! Anything can be overwriiten if they spent a minute or two...

I bought the H2o 5000 sq ft lawn sprinkler with plastic base and plastic wheels. When I first bought it I was delighted that it worked well, I wrote a positive review at that time. Then the product failed a few month later. I went and bought a second one hoping that it was an isolated problem. It wasn't, it failed the same way. That's when I contacted them and they sent out twice a replacement and it had the exact same problem. By this time I had bought another one and it had the same issues. The problem is at the point where the hose attaches to the base, it is defective.. it is oval instead of round and won't alow for a proper seal. I called them and told them what was wrong and they basically said they would give me 20% off coupon, which I declined. I told the customer service manager that it would be pointless to buy a new one if we both know it is defective. I told him that I would be writing a negative review and not use his products anymore. I think this company is selling products that they know are defective. Buyers beware this company does not care. I suggest using another company

Their products work okay and are cheap, but if you need help with pressure, flow, performance or anything, their technical support is non-existent. I spent 20min on the phone talking to a very young girl that was talking in circles and not answering any of my questions. She was clueless and trying to read from some script. Eventually she put me on hold without telling me she was and then hung up on me 2min later. I was kind to her the entire time trying to give her the benefit of the doubt thinking eventually she would transfer me to someone with more technical knowledge... nope

Can't get the sprinkler system to work customer service doesn't know anything can't send a technician and doesn't even try to help you they will refer you to an irrigation at your own expense horrible service I will be ripping it out of my yard and getting a new system will never deal with them again

Absolute crap to function and set. Instructions are extremely poorly written and the videos run at the speed of light. Nothing is clearly labelled and some instruction steps are just left out entirely

Your yard watering timers have not lasted more than 2 seasons.
Your products are of such poor quality, even the warrenty replacement units have already failed.
You have decided to penalize me, the customer, by stealing the $110 that was available to me on a replacement giftcard.

My B-hyve sprinkler controller, that we purchased when we moved into our new home, is the best controller I've ever used (and I used to install sprinkler systems for a living). The app with its remote control capabilities has been a god-send. Really happy with my purchase!

The fact Orbit has honored is warranty is refreshing. Claims were straight forward, and relatively easy to file.
