Turned away from free trial

Dear Orangetheory Fitness Team,

I am writing to express my disappointment with the experience my wife and I had at your Milpitas location on McCandless Drive today, Thanksgiving Day.

We arrived for a free trial session, having confirmed the eligibility terms on your website, which state that anyone residing within five miles is welcome to participate. However, we were turned away by your front desk receptionist, Reimo, who informed us that the offer was only for Milpitas residents. Upon further inspection of your website's promo details, it is clear that we were indeed eligible for the trial, as we live within the specified radius.

Furthermore, we were disheartened by Reimo's explanation that the class was full and his subsequent remark implying we were unlikely to sign up for full-time classes. We applied for a spot online which showed availability. How did this change? This interaction not only contradicted your promotional terms but also left us feeling unfairly judged and unwelcome.

Our experience at Orangetheory on this holiday was disappointing and has raised concerns about the inclusivity and professionalism of your studio's practices. We hope that you will reconsider how such situations are handled in the future to ensure a welcoming and fair environment for all potential members.

We believe in the value of fitness and community that Orangetheory promotes and were eager to join the session to experience it firsthand. Unfortunately, our interaction has left us questioning our desire to be part of your community. We kindly request that you review this matter and consider implementing measures to prevent similar occurrences in the future, ensuring clarity in communication and courtesy in customer service.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. We hope to hear from you soon regarding how this situation can be rectified.
