I would give zero stars if I was able…

I would give zero stars if I was able to. The products are made of very cheap materials, and have an awful chemical smell to them, even after airing them out for weeks and washing with dawn dish soap (as requested by customer service). The lenses themselves are also not right, even though the order was placed with an absolutely correct and current prescription. I have been trying to deal with customer service for 2 weeks now and have had zero positive or helpful response from them. They just keep saying they’re made to my specifications, even though the glasses are 100% unwearable. Save your money, and do NOT order from this website.

Doesn’t deserve any stars. They don’t give an answer why i never received my glasses. I have 20 pairs of Zenni because of their excellent customer service. It’s BS

The worst experience ever

The worst experience ever. >1.5 months their support were playing damn and telling me to wait, showing me some kind of their local china tracking that my glasses are on their way. After June 1 there wasn't any updates 15 days ... I requested refund >10 times - no response. Every 24-48 I got some kind of stupid responses - "what's your order #" (asked that question 2-3 times), "Please wait ", "we gonna contract shipping agent", etc ... . Then suddenly at June 15 I got notification that my order was delivered 15 days ago :-) ... Please beware - order something local, but never anything from these guys.

Scam. Stay away if you don't want to be ripped off

Avoid this scam and the positive reviews left by their employees. First order wasn't received and refund was denied. Second order wasn't in stock so I canceled it and once again refund was denied. Canceled through my bank. Bank advised that they have complaints regarding Optical Factor every week from victims not receiving the product or refunds.

Don't bother complaining if there's'…

Don't bother complaining if there's' anything wrong. My sunglasses are blurred and emails were sent asking me to adjust them. They tell me now to get the specs tested at Specsavers and that would cost me £35.00. Rubbish company and rubbish product

These are cheap production eyeglasses

These are cheap production eyeglasses. I regard them as disposable and so I bought three pair. First order got lost in California. Not much response other than a resend with a few weeks delay. Second round took nearly three weeks. Last time I will stress out using this company. Bought a pair from Warby Parker. More expensive. Good quality and rapid delivery. Optical factor product poor quality. Zenni is better and Warby Parker better again.

Poor Products, Inept Customer Service

I ordered glasses for my son in June 2024. The glasses broke upon wearing them for the fourth time. They were sports glasses and he was running when they broke. He wasn’t hit, the clear string (yep, string) that held the lens in stretched. I contacted customer service multiple times and they refused to refund my money. They only offered unacceptable compromises. After a while, they stopped responding and have yet to refund my money. They were under $60, so it’s not a huge deal, it’s just the principal. The glasses were laughably cheap, and customer service was not responsive and condescending. Truly, the worst company I have ever worked with.

Use at your peril

Use at your peril! Ordered a pair of safety glasses and sunglasses. Safety glasses fine, quite good actually. Sunglasses came with a clear defect in one lens. Then the problems began. What I expected would be a simple replacement sent out resulted in a 6 week backwards and forwards asking for test certificates and everything else. I sent videos showing it was a clear optical defect. I was told to let my eyes get used to it. Do not use this company, I may as well have ordered from a proper company at twice the price! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Great prices

My wife, son and myself all went and had our eye examination and the price we had to pay out of pocket has skyrocketed.
Looking at the frames and glasses they had to offer on top of what we already had to pay, I didn't want to purchase from them and looked around shopping the internet.
As a first time buyer, it took me awhile to understand the process to get what we wanted, but basically loaded our information we had been given from our last exam and then jump through hoops figuring out type of lenses, coatings, tints and frames in order to determine true cost, then add shipping charges is not a quick or easy process for a first time buyer.
However we each did find a pair we liked and ordered. They eventually came but the information and tracking is not like Amazon, we received by USPS.
I gave 4 stars only because it took longer to figure out how to order, then shipping charges on top of prices, which prices are good, but I won't place order again until shipping becomes less or free shipping offer drops under having to spend $100 per order when I only want to order a second set for myself and not whole family.

Run far from this company

It took over 7 weeks to get glasses that I was told I would have in 3-4 weeks. Customer service was no help. Promised a refund of shipping but have not receiving it still. After receiving my glasses I can’t even wear them. I feel like I’m wearing beer goggles. They are no where close to my prescription. I will not recommend this place to anyone! Stay away from this company

Good problem resolution

Glasses I received were not in the frame color I had ordered. After informing them of this I was told they would send another pair in the correct color and to just keep the other pair. Good result.

Wraparound prescription glasses better…

Wraparound prescription sun glasses glasses better than ones I paid hundreds for from my optician. Optical Factor prices are so reasonable that I thought they were a scam. I risked it and I'm very, very satisfied, so satisfied I ordered a 2nd pair in another colour in clear lenses for cloudy weather.
I have a complex high prescription which local opticians struggle to get filled. Usually I have to limit it to long range or shirt but Optical Factor were able to fill my full prescription. While they still look a bit like bottle tops I can see very clearly long and short including reading. My only complaint is in ordinary frames the sizes are too big for my face so I can't purchase them.

Never received

Ordered and my credit card charged in April. Was told it was lost in shipping and that it would be replaced. Never happened. Now they won't even respond to my emails. Horrid experience with a horrid company.
