The OnSIP app is good, but could be even better!
We use the OnSIP app to make short (less than 60 seconds) video calls between users in our 2 stores. The video and audio quality is very high. The app is easy to use. We would use the Sayso portion of the app, which we've tested and it works well, but we have no one available all the time to answer customer contacts from our website, so we can't use it. The OnSIP app would be even better if it had features like "auto answer in video mode" and "share desktop screens" (so we could see what the other person is talking about when we don't understand). Those additions would make it great. If it had remote control so we could do computer troubleshooting, that would make it stellar. As it is, the app is free to use, but with some enhancements, it would be well worth financial support through a monthly or yearly subscription.

Needs Work
The PC app has problems connecting between caller and callee. I get so many calls every day where the phone rings, I pick it up and all I hear is dead air. The caller sometimes calls back 3 or 4 times before we can both hear each other.
The cell phone app for both Apple and Droids is lacking in consistency. Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not. There are literally times where you cannot use the transfer arrows to transfer a call.

I received a very quick and helpful reply to my support ticket. OnSip has many useful guides on setting up SIP accounts. OnSip’s login web portal dashboard is easy to use and navigate and it has a useful admin section for managing call settings and migrating sip domains.
