Had an issue on my boat

Had an issue on my boat, Andrew was my contact point and I must say he was fantastic. I'm not electrically minded and he talked me through a step by step fault finding. His knowledge was amazing. Thanks Andrew for all your help it was very much appreciated. Would definitely recommend.

An excellent company for narrowboat solar power.

This company did a full assessment of my narrowboat power needs and problems. Once they had a complete picture, they advised me what needed to be done, undertook all the work to a very high standard, and kept me informed every step of the way. They fitted me in at their earliest opportunity and, after a couple of days, I returned to the boat to find everything completed professionally. They moved the existing solar panels to a more sensible location on the roof; they installed a new solar controller inside the boat, re-wired everything safely and neatly, and even undertook the installation of the management app on my phone. They also repaired my alternator belt. I am impressed by this firm and recommend Onboard Energy for the installation or improvement of narrowboat solar power.

Very disappointed

Very disappointed. I bought a SDMO generator because they have generally a positive reputation and are made in Brittany, my original country.
Unfortunately, the one I bought (Technic 6500 E AVR) in 06/2022 was really built in 01/2017 ! More than 5 years old !!! (I can give all proofs). The battery and the petrol gauge were out of service, the battery was replaced by the seller, but I had to repair the gauge by myself.
The generator, supposed to give 6500 W is only capable of 5200W and the voltage drop down from 2700W, despite the pretended AVR that doesn't work.
No warranty, no customer service from the builder who can't be contacted, totally non-existent customer service entrusted to incompetent "agents"...
I regret this purchase, I'd better had bought a Hyundai !

5 STAR SERVICE

5 STAR SERVICE
Excellent service from start to finish with helpful and happy staff.
I’ve had fitted three 175w Victron solar panels and Three 160ah Victron Lithium iron batteries and all associated equipment required to protect the system.
I could not be happier with the installation and the professional service they gave.
Would certainly recommend Springwood Haven Marina and Onboard Energy as a great place to have work carried out on your boat.
