I have placed a few orders with Norfolk Herbs over the past year, and both the plants and service have been brilliant every time. I have worked within a mail order nursery myself for a number of years and understand the challenges, so I know good plants and good service when I see it. First time I have used this company and I am very impressed. Prompt delivery of very well packaged superb plants. I am a retired professional gardener and I have had many varying results with mail order plants. On this occasion Norfolk Herbs have excelled; the best mail order plant experience so far.

I buy from multiple different plant stores on line and have to say they are one of the best. Quick dispatch and the packaging is amazing at keeping the plants secure and arriving intact. Plants are very healthy and look really good!

I order plants from various companies and I can honestly say that those just received from Norfolk Herbs are the best. They are packaged in individual pots that are sitting in a tray and each plant is protected in its own little enclosure. Each plant was in excellent condition. So many other companies I have ordered from send the plants out squashed into plastic containers and it takes them a while to recover, not so with Norfolk Herbs. I will most definitely be ordering from them again.

Outstanding plants and service. Bought 17 salvias and every one is a fantastic quality plant. Quality is even better than the RHS salvias I have bought previously and much cheaper too. Their range of salvias is incredible and have transplanted so well they are flowering 2 weeks after. Great service with nice people you can actually talk to - really helpful with guidance before sale and changing delivery for me afterwards - packaging really good and delivered overnight so plants arrived in top condition. You can definitely buy from Norfolk Herbs with confidence

Exceptional quality plants, service, and delivery! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I know that when I order plants for delivery from Norfolk Herbs that I will receive healthy plants, and they will be really well packaged and clearly marked as live plants.

First time buying from Norfolk Herbs but having received some rather weedy and/or poorly packaged plants from other companies earlier in the summer, it was both a relief and a delight to open the box and find securely packed and beautiful plants. I was actually pleasantly surprised at how large and well established the plants were for the price. They have flowered continually for the last few months. Prompt delivery, well packaged, good sized plants at a competitive price. Will use again and would highly recommend.

I've been buying plants from Norfolk herbs for the past few years and they just get better and better.

First time purchase of red Basil plants and Oregano.

Such strong healthy plants. The basil smells divine!

Two tips:

These are living things, so after you make an order, check the website for where they have got to with their deliveries. This will give you an idea of when they will come.

Also, the little balls in the compost are hard-shelled slow release fertiliser. (Not snails eggs!)

Very happy with such great plants. They were all very healthy with well developed root systems.

The plants were a bit soft and lush being grown down South and possibly under glass, so being in Yorkshire I thought they might not transfer too well, but I hardened them off in sheltered spot for a few days and now I have planted them out you can’t even tell they have been moved.

One of the things that attracted me to buy from Norfolk Herbs, was that while not certified organic they say they try to use natural pest control, and that they don’t use peat. I did, however, find a lot of those fertiliser beads in the pots.

Norfolk Herbs have a fantastic array of herbs growing at the deliciously named Blackberry Farm. This is my first time ordering from them and I was over the moon with my online order. My five plants were extremely well packaged and delivered in beautiful condition. They are now sat on the staging in my garden, resting after their travels before being potted on/planted out. A great find and amazing value.

I have ordered plants from Norfolk Herbs a few times, and every time the plants were big, healthy, and well-packaged. A real bargain for the price. And that one time the delivery people decided to throw the box around and damaged the plants inside, Norfolk Herbs replaced them for me. Really good shopping experience every time.
