Nira is a HUGE disappointment!

On 20 May 2025, I received an email telling me that my order has been delivered but I didn't receive anything!

Seven weeks later, after sending several emails to the customer support agent (Elisa), she wrote on 2 July 2025, "I want to assure you that your replacement order is being prioritized and is scheduled to ship within the next 48 hours. As soon as it goes out, I’ll personally follow up with your tracking details."

Today is 7 July and I have not received any news!

No result

I have religiously used this device twice a day for a solid three months and have seen NO effect whatsoever, not even the beginnings of any improvement. If it takes longer for me personally to see a result,fine, but surely I would start to see a tiny improvement? If this company is selling a non existent result then they need closing down.

After being in touch with a customer…

After being in touch with a customer services representative 4 or 5 times, I’m still waiting for a returns label three weeks after the return was approved. I can’t print it, they said they would send one, I’ve asked 3 times to be referred to a supervisor and I’ve told them 3 times I have no access to print.

I’ll be initiating a charge back on my credit card as the product has been unusable for more than 3 weeks and I have not been provided with a valid means of return. I have not had a response to an email sent 3 days ago.

I’m not sure I’ve ever dealt with a company that is so poor at after care.

Poor quality and poor customer service

I ordered my device in November after a few months the device stopped working I reported the issue and was asked to send a video. I was then sent a new device which I was happy about, the device came and the new device would not work. Contacted customer services again and advised the new device wasn't working. The customer service rep apologized and said she would send a third device. Very low confidence in the quality of the product for the price and requested a refund. Was advised I can't get a refund as it's over the 90 days, the customer service rep advise I could gift a new device to a friend.? I advised I didn't want a new device and as it's within the 12 months warranty and I haven't been able to use the laser within a few months I'd like a refund. I now haven't had any reply from the customer service team? So no working devices and no refund. Shocking

Poor customer service

Poor customer service - They repeatedly charge my credit card for a reoccuring subscription that I cancelled. There is no way to remove my credit card information from their site. They don't answer emails or the phone. SCAM

Haven’t received Nira Pro 6 weeks after purchasing.

I have purchased the Nira Pro on the 13 of April and today the 20th of May 2025 has not yet been delivered. I have never encountered a company which is very quick to take the customer’s money and not deliver the product. After contacting customer service, they promised to sent the product in three different occasions and they never did. I do agree with other customers to stay away from this company.

Very Poor Order Experience

I ordered the two-laser bundle with the Mother's Day promotion. They were quick to charge me for $800+. 2 weeks later, nothing shipped. They sent out an email giving me an "expected date" to ship. That date came and went with no further update. I cancelled my order. I continued to receive several promotional e-mails. Why promote something so strongly that you don't actually have available?? Very very disappointed. This company should not be charging any money until they actually fulfill the order - like a lot of other companies do. Beware that you may be giving this company money for something that they don't actually have.

FALSE CLAIMS

I purchased the Nira pro but emailed them at the same time to say that before they sent it to me, could they call me. They sent it to me anyway and did not call me. It is a useless piece of equipment, barely heats up even on the highest setting and would take hours to do the whole face. Because of that I have been trying to use it around my mouth which takes about an hour. I will now attempt to get a refund which according to the other reviews is almost impossible. DO NOT BE TAKEN IN BY THE FALSE CLAIMS.

Overall I got two months out of the…

Overall I got two months out of the device. I was sent one with a hairline fracture (hard to see at first) and then through use it got bigger and bigger until the device was abnormally hot when used, so I stopped using it. I reached out for a refund and they promised to send a device to replace it that worked. Like a dummy, I trusted them. I Got another defective device with the exact same issue. I tried to get it upgraded in hopes it would actually work and they offered me a measly 20% off. So after paying hundreds for a defective device, that I only got to use for two months, they then want me to buy another one for hundreds more. It felt like a slap in the face. Also, it definitely takes way more than 8 minutes to do your entire face. Like most devices, expect a real investment of time each day, especially if you want to do other areas, such as the neck and hands. Overall, Nira's claims feel both dishonest and their actions disloyal. Definitely not worth the investment. A real disappointment.

Appalling customer service

They don’t even deserve 1 star !! I agree with all the comments on here, they’re an absolute nightmare to deal with !! I was unlucky enough to get the CSA named Tiann. If she’d been working for me, she’d have been sacked within the week. She showed no initiative whatsoever, took an age to answer my emails and when she did she was evasive so I had to ask my questions again. I’ve received a refund but boy was it hard to get it. Please do NOT have anything to do with this company. I’ll be reading Trustpilot reviews from now on before I even attempt to order from a company I don’t know about. NIRA = NIGHTMARE in my opinion

Placed my order over a month ago

Placed my order over a month ago. Still haven’t receive any shipping confirmation. Although customerservice answers my emails i’m only being strung along every time. Very frustrating and disappointing. I’m about to cancel my order if next answer will again turns out in nothing. They do spam you with marketing emails almost every single day.

Do not go near - worst customer service I’ve ever experienced!

One star because I have to put something to review. Worst customer experience I have ever encountered, please avoid!!

4 Jan: I emailed to say I had received and was charged for 2 devices (one in error) and needed to send one back. Received auto response saying they’d be back in touch within 24 hours.

8 Jan: after five more emails and live chats they finally responded.

11 Jan: they emailed to say they’ve sent a return label for USPS - I’m in Scotland!!!

27 Jan: after 12 emails from me to NIRA, umpteen live chats and numerous unanswered phone calls, I received a Royal Mail label to return duplicate device. By this time I was so frustrated with their lack of customer service that I decided to send both devices back (neither had been unpackaged or used) as I wanted nothing to do with their products or company.

3 Feb: their UK office received receipt of my 2 returned devices. (I tracked it via Royal Mail and had delivery confirmed. They advise that refunds will take 7 days.

10 Feb: no refund received.

10 Feb: again after countless emails, live chats and Facebook private messages, I have received a refund for both. Hallelujah I can now say good riddance to this hellish company and the stress of having any interactions with them ever again. Please avoid.

Feels Like A Scam

Apologies first as this is a long one!!

This company doesn’t even deserve one star!!
I ordered the Nira Laser Bundle on 2nd Dec. They advise you that it may take up to 5 days to process before shipping and that’s absolutely fine.

1st issue: Their nonstop promotional emails they send aren’t clear that they’re only for their US customers.
2nd issue: They’re quick to charge your bank account and 28 days later your order still hasn’t been shipped.
3rd issue: As previously mentioned in another review they can be extremely slow to respond to emails. It would seem if you’re not based in the US you, your money and your order aren’t a concern of theirs.
4th issue: After stating that they are experiencing delays in production of their Precision laser, it seems ridiculous to then send continuous promotional emails 2 days later offering a Buy 1 Get 1 Free on their Precision laser and holiday savings on their Christmas Gift ideas and now a Boxing Day and New Years promo 20% off promo. Surely that’s just opening the door to more complaints waiting to happen and disappointing more customers.

On the 8the Dec I emailed their customer service to query their promotional link for a free skincare bundle with every laser purchase that I used. One of their reps Brenda replied back very promptly with an empathetic email explaining that their peptide serum wasn’t yet available to UK thus why it wasn’t included in my order and kindly added their hyaluronic acid to my order for free.

On the 10th Dec I received an “Important update on your Nira Bundle order” explaining that there’s a production delay on the Nira Precision laser and to expect a 4 week delay…..but “your Nira Pro laser is ready and we are shipping it within the week”. They also offered an alternative offer of upgrading the Precision to the Pro at no extra charge..presumably for quicker delivery and to minimise complaints.

The joke of it is that they start the email off informing you there’s important information on your order and then have the audacity to say it pertains to US customers only.

On the 14th Dec I emailed Brenda to ask how long roughly does it take to process and ship to the UK.
She replied the next day with the following:

“We're sorry to inform you that we're currently experiencing shipment delays. We regret making you wait this long to receive the product and apologize for the inconvenience.

Please stay tuned for future updates on your order. You can reach out to us if you have any other concerns or questions. We'll give you all the help you need to keep track of your package as it moves.”

Considering the only order update since the order confirmation I’ve received didn’t include orders made outside the US, I replied back asking for a rough time line on the delays….weeks? Months?
6 days later I had the following response and nothing since, with no real answers “I sincerely apologize for the delay in communication regarding your NIRA order.

I’ve followed up with our fulfillment team and am still awaiting confirmation on the status of your order. Please know that I’m prioritizing your inquiry and will provide you with an update as soon as I have more information.

Thank you for your patience and understanding, and I will keep you informed. If you need anything else in the meantime, don’t hesitate to reach out.”

Extremely disappointing after the first email from Brenda was so positive. It’s been nearly a month since I placed my order and from the other reviews I don’t see it ever reaching me.
Will be cancelling the order via my bank.

They need to be more transparent to their customers ordering outside of the US!!

I can’t comment on the products, as I’m still to receive my order. Their customer service is awful and takes forever to respond, if they respond at all. Be very wary about ordering, especially from the UK.

2 weeks after ordering I still haven’t received my order, after repeatedly emailing they said they would get back to me 3 days ago, but despite further emails from me still no response. The package has been at the delivery depot for over a week! Now doing a charge back on my credit card -avoid them scam merchants
