Buying direct was best decision

Pricing was much better direct than big box Lowes and Home Depot or Amazon (I checked). Shipping cost was reasonable. Came much faster than I expected too. High quality wire.

Just another incompetent Internet middleman

Tsunami of positive reviews online must be fake. They use the same incompetent distributors as other Internet middleman (aka W&C Your Way) websites. I expected them to ship direct from Long Island (being, you know, NASSAU cable with a 516 area code) but nope, apparently they're just a middleman. The distributor screwed up (AGAIN) and didn't send $60 of 6AWG wire. Nassau's online chat just said, "call so-and-so" and was useless. I called and had to jump hoops photographing the box and its contents just like when "W&C Your Way" screwed up a previous order with the exact same distributor in Middletown NY (A-Z Industries). I started posting a negative review on an email I received from Nassau and they deleted the review and wouldn't let it go through. I'm never buying another Internet order again from ANYONE unless I'm desperate; the cheap low prices aren't worth jumping hoops and wasting time. The only reason it's two stars is because the distributor was finally forced to send the correct cable. One more thing: the "Green" grounding wire I ordered was a faded olive green and doesn't look anything like the website bright green color. Buyer beware when purchasing wire on the Internet; nobody is providing good products or competence.

After 5 months of waiting on the heater…

After 5 months of waiting on the heater I ordered i asked for a refund. I was then contacted by NNC to take down my bad review and they would give me a $50gift certificate. I told them no and offered to buy the heater at half price and I would pay once it arrived cause I'm not waiting another 5mo with them sitting on my money again. I received a call and they agreed to my terms but then proceed to ask me my CC number at which i said no, it was to be received 1st. Later I got an email stating they would send but I needed to confirm with them. I confirmed with them only to find out they still want money even though they said they agreed to my terms. This place is shady and all should shop somewhere else so u don't have the stress as well as lies to deal with. Sad that companies treat us as bad as they do..

Smooth Transaction, Good Product!

Everything was easily displayed on the website. Ordering and completing the order was seamless. Items came in a reasonable amount of time and everything was as i ordered. my only gripe was the wooden spool was broken so unwinding the wire was a bit of a task. I'm hoping you didn't send it out with a broken spool and the fright company did that. Otherwise it was a good transaction. would buy again!

pending future updates...past experience was poor customer service & misleading website information

I've updated my review after Nassau reached out to me to address some of the concerns I had, and at this point I do intend on purchasing from them in the future, now better understanding both their website and policy on minimum lengths. I do hope they will update both their website and policy to make it easier for newcomers, and so that expectations are clear. I will update this review again after I next work with this company.

I wanted to like this company, and have ordered 3 times from them, but at this point I'd recommend trying first to get your wire from a local electric supply, or one of the big box stores.

The first order went without a hitch, but second order was split in 2 parts, and one part took nearly 2 weeks to arrive. Third order: their website allows ordering of stranded cable by the foot (makes sense, right?) and does NOT specify a minimum; day after ordering, I get an email saying they are "out of stock" without specifying which wire out of 2 that I ordered they were out of stock, then after replying to them, they tell me there is an 100ft minimum order required of this type of stranded cable? WTF? Put it on your website then - don't waste people's time. Also, the email from the rep had their phone and extension, but when calling the company there is no method of contacting the rep by extension number...again, wtf, don't waste people's time. Lastly: I finally got a live customer service agent by contacting sales and then giving the extension number I needed, and low and behold: I get a fast-talking and nearly incomprehensible Indian (from India) agent.... I love Indians, but when I need help with an order that the company is at fault of screwing up on, I love even more talking to someone who I can understand. Massive fail on the part of Nassau Cable. You guys can certainly do better in all these aspects, and without improvement, you will lose business to others who do these things right.

Pleased and Pleasantly Surprised

Ill admit I was super skeptical at first, but ordered 145ft of 2-2-2-4 MHF wire to wore my garage I ordered it last 7/25/24 Thursday and got it today Monday 7/29/24 so pretty quick considering. The customer service I was emailing was quick to respond and was willing to help it was pretty nice. Everything as far as the wire looks good the only thing I'd nit pick, is that the wire isn't coated so it's four seperate wires instead of the four being in a coating as well which should make it more interesting to get it through the conduit lol. Otherwise very pleased with everything!

Wrong cable sent--one month to receive a refund with no response to whether NNC had the correct cable I originally ordered

In early June 2024, I ordered a 45 ft. length of CPE-jacketed 12 gauge wire (tray cable). I received the order promptly.

However, just before installing the wire I noticed the outer jacket said "PVC," which is a less UV/sunlight-resistant and much less costly kind of wire. I began communicating about this with NNC on June 14, with numerous phone calls and emails seeking to get the right cable sent to me or get a refund.

Notably, the cable that was sent to me was from a warehouse in Houston, TX and had a different order number than the initial NNC order.

On June 17 I received an initial email response from NNC (Nella) apologizing for the mixup and saying she would check with the warehouse. Per her request, I sent a photo of the cable jacket showing it was PVC-jacketed. On June 18 Nella offered to arrange the return of the incorrect wire and I responded on June 18 saying I was happy to have UPS pick up the cable at my home or to have the return shipping label emailed to me.

On June 24 I emailed NNC informing them I had still hadn't received a return shipping label or instructions. With additional phone calls, Nella finally arranged for UPS pickup from my home.

Despite the incorrect cable being picked up on June 24, there was no known action by NNC to promptly send me the correct cable or issue a refund. I never heard from NNC about whether they had the correct CPE cable in stock (it remained listed as available on their website).

On July 1st I emailed Nella and others on the NNC team including NNC principal Siraj Rasul for a status update. I included Rasul on subsequent emails. After not hearing back for a week I sent another email on July 8, and on that day received an email from Nella saying my refund would be processed. A few days later I called for a status update and on July 11 received an email from NNC confirming the refund was being processed.

The refund finally credited to my bank account on July 13. I don't know how representative my experience with NNC was, but I don't expect to take chances and order from them again.
