The ring is beautiful and just as described. The shipping was fast although FED EX was an issue. After they lost and re-routes the package which needed a signature and my husband stayed home to sign for it, it never arrived. I finally had to have it left at a FED EX location for pick up. It was a hassle! I only paid 199.00 and a signature required?? It was not a smooth delivery but not the companies fault. It was in delivery that was an issue.

I wouldn’t sell with anyone else. My Gemma are the most professional, easy and trustworthy company I have ever dealt with regarding selling my designer goods.
The process is so simple, very easy- they paid for the shipping to USA- which was fully trackable. They honoured the price they had given me via email. (No haggling down)
I had previously sold with them prior the move to America- but the service hasn’t changed- please don’t worry about your goods being sent to USA. It’s such an easy process.
I dealt with Emre on both occasions. The price I received for my goods was fair and the money was in my bank within 24hrs.

I had high expectations when I chose to sell my Gucci Marmont bag through MyGemma, but unfortunately, my experience has been disappointing. The bag was in excellent shape when I sent it in, carefully stuffed to maintain its structure. However, it was returned to me completely flattened and creased—clearly not handled with the care you’d expect from a company that specializes in luxury resale.

To make matters worse, the original stuffing I sent with the bag was not returned, and no internal support was added during return shipping. Anyone familiar with the Gucci Marmont line knows how easily it loses shape without proper support.

I shared before-and-after photos with MyGemma and explained the situation, but they refused to acknowledge any responsibility. I proposed a fair solution—to have them reimburse the cost of reshaping or compensate the difference if another resale platform offered a lower quote due to the condition—but this was ignored.

Luxury resale requires careful handling and trust. I did not receive that here, and I would caution others to think twice before sending valuable items without written guarantees around handling and return protocols.

UPDATE: Just seeing the reply from the myGemma management team. I appreciate the clarification, but I want to set the record straight. The issue is not about the bag being declined due to odor — I accepted that decision without argument when it was communicated. The real issue is that the bag was returned to me in significantly worse condition than when I sent it out. The structure was visibly distorted, creased, and collapsed to the point where it is no longer sellable. I have photos as well as email confirmation from your manager acknowledging mishandling during your inspection process.

While myGemma continues to focus on the odor, this deflects from the actual damage that occurred while the bag was in your care. I stored this item properly prior to shipment and had no concerns about its shape. It was only after it was returned that I found it collapsed and deformed. I reached out professionally to address this, but instead of taking responsibility, I was dismissed and portrayed unfairly for raising a valid concern. It’s disappointing to see a luxury resale platform shift focus and avoid accountability in this way.

This review is not about a declined sale, it's about how an item was returned in unacceptable condition and how poorly the concern was handled.

Sorry you were not satisfied with your experience. So others have a sense of what happened here, the bag arrived and the paper stuffing was removed as we took our photo of the arrival condition, as we always do. The bag showed signs of creasing and flattening in the photo once the stuffing was removed, but this is not an issue as it is a preowned bag and very common with this style. That being said, it is something that only happens over an extended period of time, not a day or two (e.g. during return shipping).

Unfortunately, we had to pass as the bag had a very strong marijuana odor, not because of any creasing. We packaged it back up and returned it back the same day, and the client received it a few days later.

We understand it’s frustrating that the bag was not able to be purchased due to the smell, but it was not due to condition, the bag was sent back with the same creasing and loss of shape as it had when it arrived. We would have been happy to buy otherwise.

We did not feel your “offer” for us to reimburse you was fair as the bag arrived back to you in no different condition than it arrived to us, as is the case for everyone. It is the marijuana smell that is going to affect the resale value here, not any creasing.

We wish you the best with it, and as mentioned, we will be happy to purchase it if you are able to have the marijuana smell removed; the condition, otherwise, is no issue.
