All of our jewelry is still handcrafted in-house by our family, using gemstones we source directly through our travels to Africa and Asia. Each stone is custom-cut by master gem cutter Steve Moriarty, making our pieces truly one of a kind.
As for pricing, any adjustments are based strictly on market changes—gold, for example, has risen over 30% in the past year, which directly impacts our costs.
We take all feedback seriously, so if you have a specific experience you'd like to share, I’d love to hear more so we can continue improving for our customers.

I am so incredibly pleased by my purchase from Moriarty's Gem Art as well as the service I received from them. I had questions about a Tanzanite gem I was considering purchasing. My questions were answered very clearly and promptly. After purchasing the gem I inquired about having it set as a pendant. Alice answered all my questions and gave me suggestions to both get exactly what I wanted and stay within my price range. I received my pendant more quickly than promised-packaged nicely for shipping and in the perfect little box for storing (or gifting, but this was for myself.) The Tanzanite gem was of high quality and exactly as described and pictured. I received exactly what I was expecting!
