Inheritance in Greece from Australia

I had the pleasure of working with Layer Marina Baltatzi on a complex matter involving the acceptance of an inheritance in Greece, all while residing in Australia. From the very beginning, Marina demonstrated the highest level of professionalism. She was not only extremely knowledgeable about Greek inheritance law but also guided me through the entire process with clarity and efficiency.

What stood out most was her discretion and attention to detail. Dealing with legal matters across international borders can be daunting, but Marina made the experience smooth and stress-free. Her responsiveness, clear communication, and ability to anticipate and address potential issues were truly impressive.

Thanks to her expertise and dedication, the process was handled effectively and concluded without delays. I would highly recommend Marina Baltatzi to anyone in need of legal assistance in Greece, especially for cross-border inheritance matters.

Knowledgeable, kind, hard-working

I am so happy that Marina worked with our family. We had many troubles receiving a pension from a family member in Greece. None of us speak Greek or knew key laws and processes. Marina is so knowledgeable, and was able to manage everything for us. She not only managed official documents and interacted with bank representatives for us, but she did some investigative work and dealt with some difficult people for us, and she did it all very well! She really went above and beyond what we asked for, and she was so thoughtful and kind towards us the whole time. I am really impressed with Marina, and I highly recommend her to anyone who needs a good lawyer in Greece. Her English is excellent.

Property sale and inheritance advice.

Following the death of my brother in 2022, his children and I needed advice and guidance through the labyrinth of the Greek legal system. We decided to sell the family home in Glyfada. Marina did everything necessary for the sale and dealt with organising the matters pertaining to the inheritance. She was always ready to help with any queries I had in a friendly, sympathetic and professional way. I can recommend her services unreservedly. Everything was completed in a timely fashion and the fees were more than reasonable. I will always be grateful for a job done well at a difficult time for us as a family.
