They hold onto payments made without applying it to the available balance for about a week even if you upload documtation that the payment went through from your bank

It's not my fault merric bank took a double payment so I had to take actions against them through my bank because I'm on full disability on a budget and Merrick was gonna make me wait 30 days for a check in the mail. I called customer care and did what they wanted me to do and they still have my account locked with a ballance so the bank keeps charging me interest on the ballance I have recorded conversations and screenshot of everything. So until they unlock my account I'm not giving them a single dime and most especially won't pay anymore interest. My next move will be the banking commission and consumers affaires. My brother inlaw is having simular issues with this bank, but the sooner they unlock I'll start paying my balance off and I will drop my account with them. Fafo stop stealing money from elders ...dear Merrick bank calling your customer care team gives me nothing but the runaround so please stop telling me to call them. I am not faxing or mailing my router and account numbers. You broke it you fix it. I have a recording of your care team admitting you still have my account and router numbers I also have screenshots of every denial to accept payments. Fix it or loose it all.

I sent to this so called MERRICK BANK CORP MY FTC REPORT AND THEY ARE NOT ACCEPTING THE FACT THAT I AM A VICTIM OF IDENTITY THEFT A CLEAR VIOLATION OF THE FCRA. THIS COMPANY I WILL CONTINUE TO FIGHT FOR THE CLEARING OF MY NAME. ALSO ASK THE COMPANY TO GIVE ME A 1099-C FORM SINCE THIS ACCOUNT IS A CHARGE OFF AND WAS WRITTEN OFF ON THEIR TAXES AND THEY ARE STILL REPORTING THIS ONTO MY CREDIT AFTER THE FACT. Hardship
My Credit Card hasn’t had a increase in over 2 1/2 years and my job just went on strike so I applied for a financial hardship and they told me my interest rate would be 6% but I can’t use my card for 6 months I said I rather miss a payment than not use my card because you never know if need it for emergency

I had a credit card account with…
I had a credit card account with merrick for over 8 years. I got the card when I needed it. Honestly, I think most of the Reviews for Merrick must be false. This is a terrible credit card company. Merrick has 30+% interest rate. I never made a late payment; so after 8 years of being a responsible card holder, I am now being charge a 4 dollar a month fee (48 dollars a year) just to have the card. THIS COMPANY IS PURE GREED! If you can help it, be smart and find a better credit card company. I will be canceling this one.

Worst bank ever
Worst bank ever. High interest and they will charge a late fee a day after your due date. The bank is failing so they need all the money they can get.

Had the card near 5 years and now this!
Had the card near 5 years and now just the other day I get a warning from credit karma that merrick is about to start charging me an annual fee of $72!!! I received no notice from merrick and so I called them to verify what I was warned about on credit karma and the rep total me that "Yes" it was true! He went on to tell me that it was a straight across the board increase to EVERY SINGLE CARD HOLDER no exceptions. This is to start September 2025 so if you have a merrick credit card expect to get charged $72 annually just to have the card. I myself, have closed my account. I'd never pay any bank to have a credit card. Especially one that's planning on doing this but not warn their card holders. I'm so glad credit karma warned me of this.
