This is the third time that I’ve had a problem getting any repairs covered fully. Back up camera went out there was a delay for 2 1/2 days while I ran around, trying to find my oil receipt even though they have that information from Carfax that I did get my oil changed. Secondly, it was an aftermarket part for 800. The repair shop was able to do some work and found the part for 515 and they only paid 367. They kept telling me that the repair shop was charging too much although I called around to several others Most of won’t even work with Merritt because they lowball them and secondly, the other places with good reviews in my small town would’ve charged the same thing or more. It’s getting to the point where repair shops won’t even accept it because of the low bowling. Tried to cancel with US automotive and it would just be too much stress. Beware they do everything they can to not pay your claim.

It seemed like someone was working very hard not to approve my claim and some one was trying to help me on the down low. It also to a long time for it to get approved. After that everything went smooth.

I’ve tried to use you 2 times now I’ve had to come out of pocket both times. More money than you put up by far. I don’t see the difference between not having extended warranty and using ur services . You suck plain and simple!

I was very relieved that my extended warranty were handled all that I needed and that I have put into I have referred you to another senior that needs your help. I thank you for all that you have done for me. For sometimes I’m not always sure what will be covered. It confuses me.
Appreciate you

I had issues with my engine and some other parts. The other parts was understood why they aren't covered. However the parts that were covered per my contract the insurance did not cover. They gave me a poor excuse why, which did not match what the mechanic diagnosed. I have asked not just one mechanic, but two and they said the same thing. Also, when I asked Merit to send out an inspector they refused. I was sent from one person to the other with no clear answer on why my claim was denied. I just kept being told the wrong information over and over until I was worn down. At the end of it all I was told I would be called back,(which never happened). I will never give my money away as I felt in did in the end of this experience. I have paid for the plan for two years straight and was in need twice. The first time which was a few weeks prior, I didn't get the rental that was promised without having to jump hurdles. I ended up paying for it myself as they were only going to cover $180 of the rental after it took them 3 weeks to approve the work. What a waste of time and money. I will never use this agency EVER AGAIN. What a disappointment.

The company is strict you must follow the policy as far as vehicle maintenance but if you do that they will approve your repair. The transmission went out on my 2016 Chevy Suburban recently. I called let them know they had the truck towed to the Chevy service center. It took 2 weeks for the approval then about 2 weeks for the repair to be done. The repair was almost 7000. I couldn’t have got my truck fixed without there help. Just follow the policy concerning maintenance and you won’t have headaches or hassles. Thanks guys!

The approval for my SUV took too long. I only have 1 vehicle so therefore it took too long. I explained that I had a spouse that is in a wheelchair. Needless to say it still too long.

This company doesn’t take their commitment statement serious (Commitment
Merit Administration is committed to delivering financially secure products and providing an exceptional experience to every family as well as dependable, reliable, and affordable coverage for unexpected repairs). My daughter’s car is currently in the shop. Her car is not drivable. There are issues with the timing. Her claim was denied due to oil issues, please inform me, what does that have to do with timing issues. My daughter paid her money fatefully to Merit Administration. Merit Administration is a scam. A Class Action Lawsuit needs to be filed against this company. The phone representatives and adjusters are very rude. It appears this company doesn’t care about their customers, “why should they, it’s not their vehicle that’s being serviced”.

Merit is a COMPLETE SCAM!! They will try to find any reason to deny your claim. We paid for years into this good for nothing warranty. Tried to file a claim on $300 they fighting the shop on everything!! Shop told me they would settle it for me so I didn’t have to deal with Merit and let me pick up my car. And told us to get rid of the warranty. Then months later I have another issue so we take it back. Car is at the shop all week waiting on Merit to approve the claim. No work being done. Need to get to work so shop says pick it up drive it around see how it does cause some issues may have worked themselves out with the oil change while we wait on Merit. So we do so on a Saturday. I call Merit Tuesday like hello still no update. They say they were calling me. Which they did not. Needed service recs. I sent what we had some work we did ourselves cause it was minor. A fuel pump, oil change. I call back Thursday like still no update? She says well now the shop hasn’t sent over records I said lies I just got off the phone with them they sent over everything and I said to call them on 3 way she did not want to said it wouldn’t matter cause picking the car up will void the claim anyway. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THEM THEY ARE LOOKING TO DENY YOUR CLAIM. Customer service is TRASH. I will leave this review on every platform I can. Everyone is going to know about this and to never look your way!!!

I received a letter in the mail that implied that my homeowner's insurance was expiring or had already expired. I called about it and they said that I needed to reactivate my account. After further questions, I found out this was a home warranty, not a homeowner's insurance policy. I had never had a home warranty account with them so it was deceptive for them to imply that I needed to REACTIVATE an account that didn't exist. They pressed me to start an account, but I didn't fall for it. I'm reporting it to our state attorney general for deceptive trade practices.

This warranty company is complete crap I they didnt honor their contact warranty with me. they denied my warranty wen the garage i had my car at sent them all paper work and i sent them my paperwork all information concering my car serivce history .so in short because my car broke down in between 30 day grace period of the contract which is bull crap. it was after 30 days wen the quote got sent to them.they used loophole saying it was in between the 30 days so they wounld,nt honor it. so my opinion they went back on their word. found out im not only person they did this too this company merit administrations. scam company i will be seeking a lawyer and contacting local news to report this comany for fraud .
