I bought a mens' wallet after deciding…

I bought a mens' wallet after deciding it was worth the premium price as I am tired of wallets falling apart after a few years. My wallet is personalized (initials) and it has a zipper around the perimeter of the wallet. The good news is the quality is unquestionable. Beautiful leather. The bad news is 1) it's not a wallet, it's too large to reasonably comfortably fit in either a front pocket of rear pocket of any pair of pants I own 2) I can only fit 4 credit cards and once you insert them, it's next to impossible to get them out! (they explained there is a "break in period") 3. despite it's large size, it's almost functionless. I couldn't be more displeased with this purchase and since I put my initials on the "wallet", Im stuck with it. What a bummer. I reached out to them as I don't think this beast should be included in the section under the name "wallets"..advertise it better so people understand what they are buying.

Since this wallet has been launched, it is one of our best sellers, because of the notes, cards and coin section included, making it a multifunctional wallet. As per our terms and conditions, it is not possible to return personalised items due to the unique nature. As a goodwill gesture, we offered you two options. The first was to return the wallet for a refund, we would just deduct a restocking fee due to the personalisation on the wallet. The other option was a 50% discount on an alternative wallet if you were wanting to purchase something more suitable for you. WOULDNT RECOMMEND A BUY WITH THEM

WOULDNT RECOMMEND A BUY WITH THEM. Their Flightkit „Varese“ for 900 EUR broke after 1.5 years. The leather also has some deficits. They offered repair due to the 25 year warranty: waiting for my luggage since begin of february 2022 - so more than 3 months since now. It seems to be overpriced for the quality u get. Maybe Chinese production is involved although they claim to produce in Italy. But sending stuff to Italy for repair and back to Germany doesn’t take more than 3 months. Maybe they have problems now due to the lockdown in China with the shipping and the production.

We use feedback like yours to improve as a company, and we appreciate you took the time to share it with us. We are already in direct contact with you regarding your 2yr old case, and are currently providing a resolution and as confirmed with you, your item is completed and due to ship from Italy in the next 24 hours.

As a sustainable company, we offer a unique 25-year warranty on all of our products against manufacturing faults. Whilst we do not cover issues deemed to be occurring from use, or fair wear and tear, we always offer to restore products for customers, and in this instance, we have restored this item free of charge.

Just to reassure you, we use a small family-run atelier in the heart of Italy, with over 75 years of experience in the leather trade with a small number of skilled artisans. All of our items are also crafted using Italian components and hardware, a rarity these days. Handcrafted items do take time and care to craft. The shipping from Germany to the UK and Italy does take time, and with items unexpectedly held at customs, in this case, which is unfortunately out of our control, we sincerely apologise for the delay experienced.

We do, however, hope you will continue to fully enjoy your restored item once it is back with you and continue to provide you with assistance and support.

I have now received my order of which, the delay was in no part caused by Maxwell Scott.
The product, the eyeglasses case, is of very good quality. I am very pleased with it. Do be aware, the eyeglasses case is described as being suitable for a small pair of eyeglasses and that this is indeed the case; pun intended.
