Review summary

Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Consumers express widespread frustration, particularly concerning unexpected charges and fees. Many people report being charged even without completing the sign-up process or receiving any services. The inability to cancel subscriptions and the lack of transparency regarding recurring payments are also sources of significant discontent. Consumers frequently describe difficulties in obtaining refunds, even when services were not rendered or when cancellation requests were made promptly. The consensus is that contacting customer support is challenging, and when contact is established, resolution is often unsatisfactory. Several reviewers advise others to avoid it.

DON’T DO IT

DON’T DO IT! I usually check a company beforehand. I didn’t on this and now I’m paying for it. I even read & copied the instructions on how to cancel a subscription before I subscribed. The scary thing is you can’t even get to that section on their site to cancel the subscription. So now I need to go through my credit card company. I REPEAT DON’T DO IT!

it is a scam

it is a scam, I clicked on an ad that promised AI features that would help me with styling and decided to try it out, when I clicked on it there was nothing of sort, it's just a course? I don't get it. So they misled me to pay for 10 dollars and when I asked for a refund they rejected saying that only if their product isn't working I would be eligible for return... The product I signed up for literally does not exist, they said it is a feature that will come in the future... so why is that advertised as such? I am opening a claim with my credit card to try recovering the 10 dollars but yeah, 100% scam.

Avoid Lumi – My Honest Experience with Service”

I've used services like Stich Fix before. However, their service didn't seem to cater to women over 50. To that end I found Lumi Ageless on Facebook and decided to give it a try. Lumi Agless ended up being a bait and switch. They string you along, and string you along leading you to believe you'll have the opportunity to select clothes until you finally buy into their subscription. They bury the parameters far below. It ends up, you get no clothes unless you meet with their stylist and read endless reams of documents. If you are a very busy professional, taking this amount of time to get to an outfit is not feasible. Unfortunately, they refuse to refund my $109 without expecting me to meet with their stylish. I simply don't have time for this. It was a bait and switch. They posed as one thing, and ended up being another. I guess a win for them. They got $109 from me without sending me anything.

SCAM! ZERO STARS, IF POSSIBLE!

I've had $150 deducted from my bank account over a three month period, and I can't find any record of an Apple receipt, agreement to a subscription, or a way to "cancel my subscription" on the app. Their customer service is terrible, and I am at a loss. During my many emails with Lumi (that started three months ago), they finally told me that I needed to go to Apple/App Store to get a refund. Apple/App Store told me to go to Lumi. I am truly at a loss!

This is a scam

This is a scam. All I did was click on a styling quiz in Instagram and somehow they charged me and then kept charging me for the next three months as a reoccurring charge.

I signed up for a 30 day paid trial- in December -never got any information with a login or anything, I assumed it didnt go through. BUT then got charged the next 3 months without me noticing. I didnt even have a login to cancel. I couldnt find them through the credit card charges, had to chase them down through this review website. They did cancel my subscipriton when I finally found them and asked, but wouldnt refund me even though I never got access to the product. Terrible business practice.

AVOID

AVOID! If I could give 0 stars I would. The app looks like a good idea, a way of updating your wardrobe and perhaps considering a different style. In reality, it is complex and you have to schedule a call. I missed the call (phone reception with me is terrible) and so I have done nothing with the app. I tried shopping in my own via the app, but the clothes are also very expensive. Now a few months later, I have had another $75 removed from my bank account for the subscription, with no notification or warning from the company. I emailed to complain and was told they pride themselves on their transparency and the costs are all written in the sign up info. I don't dispute this, but why don't they remind their customers, rather than underhandedly take money without warning? The company has no interest in rectifying this situation. I wish I had checked these reviews before signing up - AVOID THIS COMPANY

Do not get this app!

Confusing app, charged without any services rendered, and no access to support through the app. I can only conclude this is a scam and I am frustrated that I paid for it.

BEWARE of Lumi. Complete Scam

0 Rating. Complete scam. Run don't walk from any and all Lumi affiliated products, services and companies. Cancelling membership ($99.99 for 24 weeks), though I never used their clothing services took 6 attempts on my account page (link doesn't work), 8 emails (to two different emails) and 2 voice-mails (where no staff actually answers). ~ I finally received a cancelation email. Double check your account page. Mine actually says "Cancelled" now. --> Start here: support @ info . email ~ Then: customer care @ email (not allowed to post their full lumi.place addresses in the review). Phone: 1-855-690-9991 ~ The voicemail recording states emaiiling another address - fashionask something... so have a pen ready for a 3rd email option. Also, have your bank put a STOP PAYMENT on all charge attempts. They will try every 1-2 days. Good luck!

A scam; buyer beware

I second everything that has been written about this company. It is a scam; they provide nothing of value. The page I signed up for said a one time charge of 29.95. They are simply out there to grab your money.

I wish I would have read the reviews…

I wish I would have read the reviews first. This company also charged me - I received NOTHING from them. They charge you first and then the process is very difficult. I exited out of it without finishing the process and didn't realize that you were charged up front. The person answering back admitted that I received nothing from them because I didn't finish and schedule any appointment.
