About Lin Health
Written by the company
Lin Health Medical Group empowers providers to offer patients the gold standard in innovative, longitudinal chronic pain care.
For decades, pain care has relied heavily on medications and invasive procedures, often addressing symptoms rather than root causes. Lin Health harnesses breakthroughs in neuroscience that focus on retraining the nervous system and delivers these evidence-based clinical methods through an award-winning, physician-led, coach supported digital application. No side effects, with non-pharmacological care accessible within days, anytime, anywhere, all in collaboration with the referring provider's care team.
Lin's multidisciplinary approach includes integrating Pain Neuroscience Education (PNE) and proven neuroplastic therapies (Pain Reprocessing Therapy, Emotional Awareness and Expression Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) to offer lasting relief for back and joint pain, IBS, headaches, long COVID, fibromyalgia, and many other conditions and symptoms.
Founded in 2021 and headquartered in Denver, Colorado, we deliver proven clinical results with 75% of Lin patients seeing significant improvement. Our virtual care is covered by insurance, fostering adherence (15 visits per patient, on average) and patient satisfaction (70 NPS) built on a therapeutic alliance with each patient.
High-touch, longitudinal pain care remains out of reach for many due to systemic limitations and high costs. Lin Health is bridging this gap by delivering scalable, affordable, and personalized pain care that empowers individuals to reclaim the quality of their life.

Lin Health program
After 1 year of chronic pain (at a level of 7-8-9/10) I was willing to try anything. This program defines the brain's role in a person's experience of pain and gives you ways to make changes. Intellectually, it's easy to understand. And then the work begins! My coach has been very supportive and encouraging. I've learned things that have helped me see how the brain and my pain are connected. It's a good program.

I have pain related to a peripheral…
I have pain related to a peripheral neuropathy, progressive over time and years. I have several meds to try and help but still have pain issues. I signed onto LinHealth with an open mind, ready to consider any and all options. I have a coach I meet with weekly with assignments in between. I'm 7 weeks into the program now and can legitimately say I'm doing significantly better. I'm even starting to get off, or cut back, on a few of my meds. I've been learning new strategies in how to alter the pain cycles, how I react to the pain when it starts up and what to do when it gets more intense. I am enjoying far fewer 'bad' days, and nights.
It is a process and you have to commit to it but it is possible to 'retrain' your brain. It takes some time

Very promising therapy…
Very good concept for dealing with chronic pain. Gives nice education and course work is simple and well constructed. I have not found a great deal of pain relief yet. But we are only half way through so it may be too early to judge. Very thoughtful and well educated coach leading me through the process.

Lin Health program works. Please believe me.
Lin Health is an honest, professional, and very caring group of healthcare professionals. I was not skeptical at first about knowing that my brain was the beginning of my pain, but I was concerned that the concept that the pain was “all in my head,” which is NOT the case at all and not what their program is about at all. It is a thorough examination of the brain’s pain pathways and how those of us who suffer from pain experience pain the same way, over and over, and how that cycle can be broken with hard work that Lin Health provides the tools to do.
The journey for me is still in process, but I can already see the great strides I am making in overcoming some of my very debilitating thinking and behaviors that were making my pain worse than it needed to be. My particular disease will always cause pain (nerve tumors), and Lin Health is NOT saying it’s all in my head, but what they do offer are ways to re-map my brain’s pain pathways, my ability to heal myself from my typical pain response, the ability to self-soothe in non-destructive ways, a way to be a much healthier, a much happier and self sufficient person with an actual life instead of what I had been, a lump on the sofa or in bed feeling like my life was over. There are SO MANY things those of us in pain can do to reshape our lives, turn on a parasympathetic response, and more.
My Lin Health coach is wonderful and understanding, and when I have questions or it’s not all sunshine and flowers, I tell her, and we work through it. Or she redirects me in a different direction that she knows from experience will get me back on track. Funny enough, from that simple redirect into a new topic I was enjoying that was unrelated to the topic I had been having trouble with, I had a lightbulb-go-on moment in which I suddenly remembered something from the previous topic that brought that earlier uncomfortable topic full circle for me, if that makes any sense. It was really remarkable to me. My coach is phenomenal and easy to work with, makes me feel great about the work I’m putting into this. The coach is such an integral part of the program, and I trust my coach with everything, and I can’t wait for our meetings.
I’ve never wanted to work hard at anything like this before in my life, but it’s fascinating and it works, and that’s everything. I wouldn’t give up my Lin Health experience for anything. I’ve never experienced anything quite like it, and I would recommend it to anyone with any sort of chronic pain issue. It works.

Working at it
My coach, Gloria, is exceptional. Very positive and helpful. I still am struggling with the practices, just can’t get over the skeptical threshold and see where it is helping. I am very outcome oriented so am having to work hard to be more process oriented. The fact that my body is hurting more than it was months ago makes it difficult to see progress.

It has been a privilege to work with Steph at Lin Health. I’ve been working with Lin since the end of April and it has been very beneficial mentally and from a psychological approach. I’m still dealing with chronic pain (2+years) but having structured help has been unparalleled. Highly recommend.

Wow. Lin
The Lin program is new and in my experience effective approach to dealing with pain. It teaches us that how we experience the signals coming up from our body has to do with how our brain has been conditioned and we can change that. I particularly appreciate the graceful gentle pace that the course goes at for me. Basically you can fly through it or go more slowly. I found the latter most effective and I incorporate it in every day. Is my level of pain better? Well yes and I’m using a multifaceted approach so I can’t be sure which part of it is the most effective, but the Lin program empowers me to think that what I do makes a difference. I highly recommend it to anyone with pain who wants to work on their inner responses.

I think Lin Health is a fantastic program! It’s full of educational information, and the one on one, face to face online calls are great! My coach, Michelle, has been a real asset to me as I search out some pain relief methods other than surgery. You need to be committed to this program to get it’s full benefits to find what works best for you. You won’t be disappointed.

great individualized pain recovery program
It is great to work with a personal coach. The app is made very well, the information is staggered, not overwhelming. Everyone with physical, mental or emotional chronic pain would benefit greatly from this program.

The program is well researched and documented. The care kits were very helpful as were the additional videos and materials my coach suggested. The key, however, is the coach. Mine (Vanessa) was fantastic! I always came away fron each session with a little more confidence and optimism as well as valuable tools.

An Excellent Pain Management Program
Lin Health's pain management program is excellent. Based on proven science, it walks the patient through a series of steps, assisted by a coach, to identify and address the patient's specific pain issues. My experience thus far has been a revelation. I had no idea as to how my thoughts and resultant behaviors were impacting my pain experience. My coach is thoughtful and fully engaged in helping me identify and address my issues. Lin has a number of tools such as CBT and somatic tracking that can be adapted to the individual patient in this regard. This is not quick process and it takes time to learn and master the techniques and implement them to your daily life. However my experience thus far has convinced me that the Lin program, when completed, will have a significant positive impact on my chronic pain. Highly recommended.

It is important to know that you can kearn to relieve pain
I am a nurse practitioner, mental health specialist, having taught at med schools in College of nursing and had clinical practice for 40 years. I am a patient at Lin health because of severe ongoing headaches, fibromyalgia, and other muscle structural pain. My experience has been very constructive and in my mind, exceptional care by the counselor who was assigned to me I knew a lot of the techniques that she was teaching, but I had never practiced them for myself. I have had some immediate relief and successes, and then times of headaches and pain. These episodes are short-lived compared to what I’ve experienced for 60 years I found in the last couple of weeks that Vagus nerve stimulation and using other techniques that I’ve been taught has decreased my need for headache medication from six days a week to one day or fewer. This is truly life-changing now even when I have a tough day or two, I know I can relieve pain. I have learned not to predict that I will have pain but instead to focus on parts of my body that are feeling good, which brings relief to all parts. As a nurse practitioner working with physical therapist I hope that Lin health will be available to all other clinicians. I know many healthcare professionals who are interested in learning more about this program so they can better help their patients and not have to depend on medication.
