Act of kindness

So I started purchasing from Kits about 2 years ago when they were just coming around. All of the glasses I have from them are amazing quality and fit perfectly. Honestly, they fit better than any other company I’ve purchased from (which is a lot!!)

My favorite pair of glasses(obviously from kits!) went missing back in September! I recently found them so you can imagine my joy! After about a week of wearing them they break ;( It sounds crazy but I was in tears it was just so much of an emotional roller coaster. I took a leap of faith and emailed Kits about the situation because repurchasing just couldn’t be an option for me. They were so kind and I’m pretty sure what I paid still would’ve been less if I (could even) got them fixed. Just wanted to come on and show some love to this wonderful company that I bought my ever first pair of eye glasses from and decided to show me kindness right back. I hope you know how much this act of kindness/understanding really made my entire day!!!Thank you so much for caring Kits glasses you’re my #1!!

Ordered glasses from KITS

I have needed glasses/contacts for 50 years and used many optical stores and on- line options for purchasing them.

By far, KITS has been the most amazing company to deal with- products are very high quality, they’ve sent a replacement for a pair I ordered and didn’t like, no cost to me - and go above and beyond to make sure customers are pleased with their purchase. I highly recommend this company- try them - you will NOT be disappointed! I will now be ordering all my glasses from

Would NOT recommend

Edited after Kit's reply: While they are working to fix the glitch that resulted in the wrong size being sent, they never addressed the fact that I only received my refund after months of waiting and finally complaining.

So I still would NOT really recommend. I have a super-high Rx, and my size 50 frames broke. Other online frame supplier sent wrong size -- 48s because they ran out of 50s and were too greedy to be honest about inability to fulfill my order. So we went to Kits. My husband double, triple checked the order at every stage (except the last), confirming "size 50" to me over and over as I was too blind to order them myself. But apparently, at the last step when it asks for frame color, the website *automatically* changes your requested size if that color-size combo isn't in stock. It doesn't say, "we don't have 50s in blue" -- it just changes the 50 to 48 in blue. So I got a SECOND pair of unusable 48s. Customer Service rep told us immediately this had happened to loads of other people (then fix the dang problem, Kits?!), and he personally oversaw the expedited shipping of a THIRD pair, finally size 50. His service was 5 stars. Unfortunately, while I could send the 48s back for a refund, I still had to pay for the 50s: At this point, I was out the cost of THREE frames. Other seller's only redemption was that they gave me a prompt refund on pair #1, and the Kits 50s finally arrived. TWO MONTHS later I followed up with Kits: "hey, where's the refund for the 48s?" They sent me an invoice that was barely readable (formatting overlapped text) with a generic email that implied, "as we said before," making me think it had been applied to my credit card but I had missed it. But when I looked closer, I realized they didn't give me the refund when the 48s were returned (mid-April), only when I asked about it mid-June. In summary: their website has a very high likelihood of botching your order, the human tech support are wonderful and compassionate human beings (only reason Kits didn't get a 1-star review), and their refund procedure is to NOT give you your money back until you complain.

Great Company

I have been purchasing contact lenses from Kits for ten years. I have a complicated prescription and they have always delivered perfect lenses and in the time frame promised. I had a problem with my R eye prescription on a previous order. Kits rectified the problem and replaced the box of lenses at no charge to me. I will continue to order from them In perpetuity.

Great Customer Service. Prioritize customer satisfaction

Great Customer Service. My initial pair of glasses were made incorrectly. Kits staff accepted the mistake was on there part and not only covered the additional cost but conveniently send me the glasses within a couple days with the right prescription. The service was about taking care of the customers, understanding the urgency and ensuring satisfaction.

Very Impressed with the Quality

The feel of the lenses in my eyes is so comfortable that I forget that sometimes I am wearing contacts. Amazing Customer Service

I ordered contacts from KITS and they arrived so fast & were extremely well priced. I then ordered a pair of prescription sunglasses. Upon arrival, they did not fit properly. I reached out to their customer service and was quickly and generously offered a new pair. While the second pair also didn't fit, I contacted them once again and was given a full refund. Having dealt with a canadian competitor in the past who refused to return my money for an error on THEIR end, this was absolutely refreshing and will HIGHLY recommend KITS to all family and friends!

This was my first time ordering glasses…

This was my first time ordering glasses online and I was very nervous about it. I had made a mistake when filling out information on my order, but Kits customer support was incredibly helpful and fast with their responses (Thank you Chad and Ted)! I was able to reorder again with the right information. I'm currently wearing my new glasses and feeling incredibly happy with them. The delivery was quick. Terrible quality, terrible service, terrible company

This was one of the worst experience ordering glasses I've ever had and the worst customer service. Normally I order from several other online shops but wanted to support "Canadian". First of all-there IS a try on feature, but NOT the glasses you want to try on. Which is useless. After a few weeks I get a call from the American manufacturer that the glasses were not up to standard and needed to be re-made. When I finally did receive them, they were lopsided. When I contacted customer service, they said I can either return them and they can remake them (on my shipping dime and would take over a month to get a new pair) or I can be out of pocket to go to a local place to get them repaired. They said they would credit me $20 for future purchases. When I explained that I would never be ordering again and would be a better use of customer service to refund me at least the $20 for the repair, I was refused. They had an opportunity to make things right with their error and decided it's better to lose a customer and give me a horrible taste in my mouth with this company so I can tell others about it than refund me the $20 I need to pay to repair the glasses they gave me of sub-par quality. Never will I ever purchase from this horrible company again and I urge you to shop elsewhere as they don't have quality or care about customer service. Disgusting.

Great customer service and products

I had a great experience with Kits. The customer service was fantastic. I had ordered a pair of glasses and I was informed by customer service that my lenses were way to thick for the frames, they then worked with me to fix this issue. I upgraded to premium lenses, and that thinned them out some. They were kind enough to make the process simple and easy, even put my order on hold untill I could pay for the upgrade, the extra payment ended up being not that much and it's still very affordable glasses. Around $70 in total, including shipping!

I still went with the original frames which were thin wire frames, I got my glasses today and I love them! I was informed that the lenses would still stick out some, but it's fine with me as they are able to close. And it's not noticeable at all! I finalized my order a few days ago, and within 4 days I had my glasses in hand!

This is definitely a place I would recommend, especially for Canadians, as they offer the free first pair for new customers. It's shipped and made in Canada so you won't have to wait long to receive them if you're Canadian.

Overall I had a great experience, customer service was helpful and fast with answering my questions and very accommodating with everything.

36 hours!

36 hours!! That's all I can say, 36 hours after I ordered I am now wearing my new glasses. The glasses were made, packed and picked up by Canada Post the next day. Quality is solid and I have never, not even in person, gotten prescription glasses this fast. I was walking around with scotch tape holding on the temple of my glasses and Kits really saved my butt.

Faulty product and five weeks of waiting

I’m in Toronto. I ordered a three hundred dollar pair of prescription sunglasses. The order arrived after 12 days (their website says they aim for 1-3 business days) with the lens misplaced, not sitting flush in the frame. You could see the light leak out of the side when wearing them. I contacted customer support to figure out my next steps, as I was travelling in three weeks.

I was afraid the return and processing would take too long and I was considering bringing the glasses to a local optician for immediate repair and see if I could get any amount reimbursed but I was told by customer support they wouldn’t be able to return any of my money and said “We understand that you’re going on vacation soon, and we’ll prioritize the adjustment process to make sure your glasses arrive in time.”

I dropped it off at Canada Post the next day, but after six days I decided to check the tracking number and it was estimated to maybe be delayed by the Easter weekend, a week and a half before my trip. Then I emailed customer service again, voicing my concerns that they sent the parcel shipment at a non-expedited speed and that they should upgrade the return shipping.

They said they would. Thankfully the Canada Post shipment arrived ahead of schedule to their returns centre the day before Good Friday. I emailed them a week after my glasses get returned to them, this is now four weeks after my original order, as I couldn’t find any updates on the return order on the website and I’ve received no emails.

This last correspondence was returned after one more day, saying the return was only processed on the previous Wednesday, which, even with four days of the Easter weekend, is four business days just waiting to be processed, not even being worked on, was only now currently being remade and would be shipped out by the end of the next week, now five weeks after my order and several days AFTER I leave for vacation.

Extremely disappointing every step of the way starting from the faulty order, with empty reassurances and nothing actually done to make the situation better. Not even a paltry voucher or discount offered, no sunglasses for my trip.
