I think KIN all in all is excellent - CS agents dont all speak understandableEnglish!

I think KIN all in all is excellent. Previously I had always spoken to someone who spoke ENGLISH. This time however, although with extra effort on my side, my question was answered, the girl I spoke to in ASIA did not speak very understandable English. I could barely understand the girl I spoke to!

Dylan made everything so easy to change…

Dylan made everything so easy to change my insurance. I was facing paying a huge increase on my old policy and Dylan found me a policy for half the price, and had everything set up for me with my mortgage company. It was an awesome experience working with him

Called Kin for a quote

Called Kin for a quote, the agent was awesome and huge difference with my previous insurgency where they never answer phone calls (Westwood).
Very happy with the switch to KIN so far.

We had a really negative experience…

We had a really negative experience getting a quote 1755843 from Gregory Wells at Kin Insurance. We had gone through the process of getting a quote, approving it, providing documentation, getting more documentation just to ultimately hear them say "nevermind, we don't want to approve this policy". Total bait and switch and waste of time.

Carriers have various underwriting guidelines and criteria for eligibility, and each quote is evaluated individually. After reviewing your quote and the documentation you submitted, we found that the home didn’t meet our underwriting guidelines. While we aim to catch eligibility issues early, some details only surface once documentation is reviewed.

I was in a bit of a pickel as my construction lender was going to hold back $ unless I secured insurance asap! Sarah Prasil not only helped me secure the new homeowners policy, but when the lender came back with an additional requirement, Sarah got on the phone herself with the lender and sorted out the details. This was a huge win for me as I am back on schedule, many thanks to Sarah!

Good Insurance Company

It's been a good experience having Kin for homeowner's insurance. They're very easy to work with which is important during Hurricane season and any other time you might have home or policy issues.

They're better than most insurance companies I've worked with.

Avoid this company

Avoid this company. They give false information and in short lie to you. I contacted them to make changes to my policy and was told that such a change would result in a pro-rated refund of approx 2 months of that coverage being removed from my policy. After 2 weeks, I contacted them about the refund and was told there is no refund coming. If you make changes to your auto policy, your bill is adjusted or a refund is issued. Whats the deal here. Bogus all around

The changes you elected to make to your policy can’t be applied mid-term, so they were scheduled to take effect at your renewal.
