Finally all good

Due to a wrong ordering on my side ,
I had to return a complet speaker set .
Despite the fact that the whole process was a bit messy due to Logistical challenges on KEF side , the customer service team was always accessible and very customer minded and resolved the whole issue incl refund in a very personal and friendly matter.

LSXII not fit for purpose

LSXII not fit for purpose. They sound good, but you basically can't use them without the app, and it's the worst most buggy and intermittent software ive come across. You regularly just cant stream anything to them and can take days to sort itself out by multiple times resetting the speakers and re-downloading the app. KEF support is predictably unhelpful and ask you to do the most basic steps and after that just shrug, drop contact and dont help. I had the LSX I speakers with similar issues but bought the II thinking surely they must be improved but if anything it's worse and not going to be stung a third time ever again.

I know anyone reading this will just think, im sure that's an edge case and I'll be fine, but please do some reading up about KEF's terrible software and support before spending a bunch of money.

Stunningly good service

Absolutely stunningly good service from KEF: I have a pair of Q900s, several years old, and I had lost the spikes that came with them. Had a look online to see if I could find any for sale, but I couldn't. So, thought it was worth trying going straight to the source: I contacted KEF and, almost immediately, got a response from Andy in Customer Services who told me he'd have a look to see if they still had some (it's a discontinued speaker). Then, very soon after, he mailed me again to say there was a set of spikes on its way to me. They arrived the following morning. Service this good is a rare & precious thing these days. Absolutely fabulous service.

KEF LS50 Meta

Ordered via the KEF website and it arrived promptly. I had a query, which was resolved promptly over the phone. As for the KEF LS50 Meta, I'm super pleased with the build quality and sound clarity. I particularly want to mention the wider soundstage I'm experiencing—it's just exceptional and has elevated my music to the next level.

Don’t order direct

I placed an order a directly through the KEF website to find that Kef actually don’t handle the logistics and some other distribution company handles it. I wanted to cancel my order but they couldn’t cancel it even though they had plenty of time between order and despatching. I returned them swiftly without even opening the boxes and it’s been 14 days since the collection without any acknowledgement or refund. Their CS team keeps saying be patient, but now it’s exceeding the timelines on their website. Very disappointing experience ordering directly from the manufacturer. I already own plenty KEF gear, but I wouldn’t recommend ordering directly from KEF as their customer service is somehow not able to do much in a reasonable time frame or provide clarifications. I’m hoping that I wouldn’t have to initiate a chargeback from the credit card company.

KEF customer service are excellent

KEF customer service are excellent. Friendly, fast and informative. Unlike some others, such as AudioLab and REL. They also make good products they just don’t like talking to customers. I recently switched by Monitor Audio Silver 100 7g’s for KEF R3 Metas, and the difference is astonishing. Additional info I needed was easy to discuss and get an - if not definitive - then certainly helpful response.

Sam came to the rescue

Had an subpar experience with my purchase made last month for how the replacement of my product was handled.
Sam from the customer service team took over the handling of my case and it has been a breeze.

The team finally took my advice of using a different logistic company for the collection and it was done without a hassle. Sam was constantly checking in to make sure the process happens according to what’s agreed.

The new LS50 arrived the next day and I’ve been enjoying my music and movie ever since!

This is a prime example of how a company can grow and perform better when they are willing to listen and work with their customers. Well done Sam.

Truly amazing by loudspeaker and service. Buy with confidence of both.

Let me start by saying that I have been a loyal user of KEF loudspeakers for many years, consistently finding them wonderfully poised, superbly developed, and impeccably built.

Recently, I purchased a pair of KEF R7 Metas from the KEF Music Gallery in London. Having high expectations of the loudspeakers, I also hoped that the service would meet that same standard. Thankfully, I need not have worried.

Geoff and his team immediately set a high bar - even during our pre-demo chat over coffee. Once in the demo room, Geoff played a couple of carefully selected tracks to set the tone and showcase the loudspeakers' capabilities. He then handed me the iPad to select my own music, and for the next 50 minutes or so, I was swept up in a steady stream of amazement. The clarity, separation of voice and instruments, and the highs and lows I hadn’t heard before were truly impressive. These characteristics, especially considering the loudspeaker's size and cost, made the experience all the more remarkable. I wholeheartedly agree with a review I read that claims the R7 Meta is the "sweet spot" of the entire range.

There was no pressure or "hard sell," which I really appreciated. I was given ample time to form my own opinion. Admittedly, I might have been a bit mischievous, especially as I was hooked by bar 8 of the very first track.

I placed my order on the spot, and the support I received from KEF only continued to impress. They kept me updated on the delivery process, and even arranged for the courier to deliver the speakers up three flights of stairs.

From start to finish, the entire experience has been exceptional. Now, I look forward to countless hours of enjoyable listening.

Finally, thank you to everyone at KEF. You’ve not only created something truly amazing but have also made this customer feel like a valued part of the experience.

KEF - KW1 to KC62 and LS60's

My current set up runs a pair of Kef LS60 wireless speakers paired to a Kef KC62 Subwoofer hard wired back to the LS60's.
I wanted the freedom to place the Sub elsewhere in the room so researched the Kef KW1 wireless transmitter. This enables the sub to connect wirelessly to the speakers and now only requiring a power lead to the sub. The KW1 was initially on back order so a quick email to Kef support and a prompt reply from Claire who said the KW1 was expected back into stock shortly. Approx 10 days after order the KW1 arrived and I set about setting it up and pairing it to the Sub. Set up was seamless and simple which then meant I could play with the sub positioning in the room to get the desired sound I prefer. So far my Kef journey has been amazing. The products live up to their high end quality / quality build reputation and the sound and separation just blows me away every time I use the set-up.

KEF LS60 - look like art!

I don’t normally do reviews but we are delighted with the SL60s from Kef. I am personally delighted because my living room isn’t cluttered with amps and other equipment.

KEF R900 end game speakers

Firstly double boxing of speakers is a good sign of a company that cares about it products. Note the speakers are very heavy so if in doubt get some help when moving around. Fit and finish is first class with a very good piano black finish the speakers have a sense of quality about them. Music reproduction is so natural highs have good snap about them with mids giving great detail and the bass going low but never flabby always solid. KEF do know how to make quality speakers. Personally I really do think these are my end game speakers.

A geeks honestl opinion

So im one of these weirdos thats spends ridiculous amounts of time and money chasing the "perfect" sound. After changing component after component i decided that i was listening to my Hifi and not the the music. I wanted to find an "all-in-one" offering an amazinf sound but all the connectivity of my previous 8 box system. To my amazement the LS50 Wireless Mk2 did everything fantastically. Super easy to use, super quality, super reliability. It has never once let me down despite having several firmware and software updates which is rare! Kef's interface is nothing short of fantastic. Its integration with Tidal is 10/10. The control you have over the speakers is perfection, it has simplified version for non geeks and ultimate tweaking capability for geeks like me. Delivery was swfit, packaging was excellent and their customer support when i decided to integrate a sub was fantastic. Clearly an actual technician answered me and gave me all the information i needed without trying to sell me another product. Ive had these for 2 years now and hey have NEVER dropped off my network or let me down, which i smore than i can say for the many other options i used before. Cannot recommend enough.

KEF LS60 Game Changers

Firstly. Cards on the table, I am an audiophile and make no apologies. I have spent abhorrent amounts of money over the years ‘chasing the unreachable’ when it comes to all things HiFi.

A house move forced my hand in to selling all my equipment that I assumed would take me YEARS to replace.

But, I was told about some active speakers from KEF and with some serous reservations I took the plunge.

I purchased some LS60 speakers and have recently taken delivery. I thought these ‘would do’ until my finances allowed me to splurge on my usual HIFI upgrade addiction.

But no.

I need spend no more. These speakers are ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! My journey ends here and it ends with the KEF LS60. Wonderful.

I must add a word of thanks to Claire at KEF. I had some issues when ordering - problems of my own making of which she helped and is still helping me resolve. A credit to the company.

Brilliant KEF support on 20 year old speakers

Got in touch with Kef regards to some q7 speakers (20 years plus old now) and asked if I could get hold of the crossover bars on the back of speaker as lost mine. Great guy called Andy replied within 2 hrs and said he would ship them out. Arrived next day! Fabulous support from KEF especially considering ages of speakers.
