The app constantly crashed. My emails go unanswered. The arm cords stopped working. I've been trying to buy a new jacket. The overall experience has been terrible.

Great product when it remains intact. Efficient and effective workouts. Verified on a personal pre/post bioelectrical impedance and functional fitness testing.

However, customer service took a significant dip in recent months. I wonder if Seema (earlier review) and I are the only ones not receiving responses from the company.

I purchased a gen 3 in November. Typical use (3x/week) and care per instructions. Pads started to peel off on both the chest and legs after a couple of months. Sent a video/complaint via email and got a replacement sent immediately.

Same thing about two months after that. This time though no response from customer service until I threatened a report to FDA marketwatch (peeling pads were associated with more stinging during use--safety??) and BBB. Received a next day response with a promise to send a third gen 3 suit replacement and then never heard back despite multiple follow ups. Have since filed a BBB complaint and just received word from them that Katalyst has not responded to their outreach.

If it were not for the pads peeling off on each of the received suits, I would be a satisfied customer and enthusiastic proponent. However, looking at the absence of either gen 3 or gen 4 suits for sale on their site, I wonder if the company is in financial/supply chain trouble.

I’m genuinely excited to try the Katalyst Gen4 suit and have been in touch with the team earlier this year about testing the product. My family generously gifted me the suit, and we placed an order on April 8th. Unfortunately, it’s been several weeks with no response or updates to order#16728 from the company, despite multiple follow-ups from my family. I’m traveling soon and was hoping to test and share my experience with others. Katalyst team, I’d love your help resolving this!

I have been using the Katalyst for over a year and amazed at the results. It is truly a game changer. I have been very pleased with how it has helped to strengthen my core and back. I can't imagine what I would be like without it! Also, every time I have had a question, I have been impressed with the customer support. Thanks Katalyst!

The Katalyst suit has changed this 53 year old's body for the better.

Whilst I still do a traditional strength session once a week I do 2 sessions of strength and / or power with recovery in the suit each week. The training sessions are intense and once you work out how to wet down the suit its like 10 minutes maximum to get ready. Took me a couple of times and find warm to hot water works best.

Finally the customer service is amazing. Kamryn is helpful and great to deal with.

As advertised. A very practical and efficient way to build strength. The on-demand classes and interface are top-notch and instructors are very engaging. The setup is pretty easy once you’ve done it a couple of times; it really only takes 5-10min to get the suit wet, on, and get the workout going… then 20min later you are done. I’m absolutely loving it. P.S. Customer service is outstanding.

I've been using EMS with Katalyst and my back/core has never felt better.

At age 43, I seriously injured my back at L5-S1. As a result, I had to undergo an emergency microdiscectomy. After months of physical therapy (post surgery) and rebuilding my leg muscles, I was ready to return to full-body strength training.

I knew my heavy weightlifting days were behind me, so I consulted my physical therapist and physician after reading about Katalyst. My physician approved, so my wife and I both bought suits (we share a power pack). We were optimistic but skeptical. After trying it, we were blown away. Not only have we used the suits for 100% of our resistance training (2 to 3 times per week), my suit has helped me with my recovery. I’m stronger than I’ve ever been. Additionally, my wife’s achy joints (from playing college soccer) are better after giving up traditional weights for Katalyst.

Thanks Katalyst! We plan to be lifers.

Simple and effective way to build muscle! Takes some getting used to, but after a couple weeks, using the Katalyst suit has become my favorite workout days of the week. I've added added muscle mass, see muscle tone, and love the post-workout endorphins. I wish it were a little more inexpensive, but I see the upfront cost as an investment that I'm seeing a great return. The customer service is also great, staying true to their size-change policies.

The workouts have been great. I feel like I am getting a full workout in a short period of time. The workouts are also interesting and varied. The video instruction is excellent. I like the automatic adjustment of the intensity level as you work through each video.

Blown away by this company. Their product is innovative and effective, their customer service team is beyond wonderful and they are continuously working to improve their offerings. I would most highly recommend to anyone- Katalyst would make a great addition to anyone's like. Not only is their suit amazing but they truly stand behind their product.
