Thoroughly disappointed in the Juvia experience at Essence Fest today. I purchased a VIP ticket for beauty-con which include expedited entry to the front of the line for promotions. Yesterday these wonderful boxes were being given out and I was looking forward to receiving one first thing this morning. We waited for 45 minutes while they decided to not give us boxes and make us actually pay for them unlike the day before. and going to the Juvia line 1st I missed my window for all the other vendors that were both more kind to us and gave us expedited entry to get their products.  I went to Juvia first and we were not able to get anything but a sample lip gloss. We should’ve had a box before anyone else.  I look forward to hearing from Juvia because I also actually paid for a sample of your product a week before this festival and I was hoping to be a customer. It’s not likely now.

I'm a long time customer of Juvia's Place because the products are beautiful and I've never had an issue until now. I purchased an order and my subtotal exceeded the free shipping threshold so my order qualifies for free shipping. The "you've earned free shipping on your order" banner posted when I went to check out and I took a screenshot of it as I always do. However, the shipping options that popluated after entering my payment information began at $7.99 for standard shipping, not giving me an option for free shipping. So I took a screenshot of the options and emailed juvia's place "customer service" to alert them that I was erroneously charged $7.99 for shipping and that I was requesting a refund for the shipping since I never should have been charged. Karla with customer service emailed me back saying she couldn't correct the shipping address since my order already shipped. I corrected her twice stating that the shipping location was not the issue but the fact that I was charged shipping on an order when my order qualifies for free shipping. I sent her screenshots of each stage of the transaction to prove my claim. Her response was that the company started sending emails in December 2024 stating that they'll be temporarily pausing the free shipping since they are running g so many sales. I responded saying that both my emails and my phone number are on their subscriber list but I haven't gotten one email stating that about the shipping but I conveniently have all of the emails about their promotions, which their website runs all the time. I also pointed out that it's not stated anywhere on their website about them halting the free shipping; since their website still advertises free shipping, I never received this phantom email, and my order qualifies for free shipping, I should be refunded for the shipping. Karla told me they won't be refunding me because of the sales they're running. Needless to say, I won't be shopping with them anytime soon, which is a shame because they products are great.

Juvia's Place always on point. I ordered the product i did the shade match and when the foundation arrived I tried it it's looks kind of orange and now I can't return it. I think I will be ordering from Ulta cos the accept returns but Juvia's does not.
