Impossible to get a bill to submit to insurance

No issues with the provider but unless they are in network for you, I would stay away. They are advertising on Facebook to NJ residents saying they accept Aetna which they don’t. I agreed to pay out of pocket and then submit as an out of network visit to my insurance. It’s now been 42 days since my visit and I still haven’t received my bill so I can submit to my insurance. Numerous follow ups and still no bill. I cancelled all future appointments for this reason.

Wonderful Experience

Working with Jennifer Harris has been an incredible experience! I’ve recommended Midi Health to numerous friends and family members who are looking for support with perimenopausal symptoms and weight concerns. The responsiveness whenever I’ve reached out with questions or needed updates has been outstanding. Scheduling appointments is a breeze, and the flexibility allows me to stay consistent with my monthly visits without interrupting my work schedule. Their website is also user-friendly and simple to navigate.

Insurance DOES NOT Cover!

I had good service, but it’s deceptive because they say insurance covers it, but it doesn’t. They charge $205 for a 15 minute visit. I got an insurance discount, but still ended up paying $140 each visit that lasted only 15 minutes. That’s ridiculous. They also kept wanting me to come back, even though things were working fine for me. When I asked about stopping the appointments so often, I never got a response back.

Long road back to myself

Long road back to myself

For 3 years I kept telling the doctors that something was not right. Instead of being curious about my symptoms, I was bounced from specialist to specialist with the same response: You are in your 40's and this is your new normal.
New normal?! Are you kidding me?! I saw all the top specialist in my city and this was the response. After living with night sweats, mood changes, unexplained weight gain, dry skin, debilitating low energy, brain fog and increased anxiety out of nowhere I was desperate for a response.
After much frustration I was sharing my experience with a friend when she mentioned MIDI. I had no idea what it was and when she described it was an online medical group that specializes in perimenopause and menopause, I first thought I don't think I am there yet since no doctor I saw brought that up. However, at this point I had nothing to loose setting up an appointment.
I am so glad I did!!! The NP I met with listen to my whole history and symptoms and let me know I had been in perimenopause and that there were solution that could help.
We started on a treatment plan and with patience and care a year later I was fully back to myself!! I could not believe it. I now tell all my friend about MIDI and the fact that there is actually no reason women in perimenopause or menopause have to live feeling like crap!
I am very thankful to have found MIDI. I can't thank my NP enough for all the care she has provided and continues to provide! It has now been a year and a half since my first visit and I feel amazing!!

Read plenty of positive reviews and an equal amount of negative reviews for this service prior to signing up for Midi. Should have listened to the negative reviews.

Firstly, it took over a month to get into see a provider. Once I did, I'm fairly certain the person I was matched with was drunk. She was so strange. I started out by saying the last several times I was given HRT, I was left with debilitating vertigo. She listened, then proceeded to prescribe another round of HRT claiming this stuff was different and pursued NO further testing and asked NO further questions. I felt so disheartened and decided not to go back. My insurance does NOT cover this service so I spent $250 for the same quality of care I could have had for $35 using my insurance and going to a regular old provided. What a waste of time and money. Do not recommend.

I’m giving MIDI Health a 3 because…

I’m giving MIDI Health a 3 because overall I’ve had a good experience with my providers and received HRT support and good communication in the portal. My issue is be wary of the billing department as I was suddenly shown a balance of $100 in the portal and when I reached out to billing to explain this charge as I had paid all my $40 copays they showed me two visits where they said I owed $50 copays with no explanation and they said they had no record of my two $40 copays for those visits. So I had to take several hours out of my busy schedule to find those copays on my bank statements and send to billing and then call my insurance to confirm my copay accounts. I still haven’t heard anything from billing since I showed proof I paid and the portal is still showing I owe $100. This has caused me stress and one of the support people accused me of not understanding the billing process and not reading the report correctly and was kind of rude. Need to improve your customer service.

A great first time experience with MIDI

I was able to get an appointment very quickly. The Tele-med format was easy to access and so convenient. There were a few hiccups with the first appointment but the clinician was very good at communicating any delays in our start time. My clinician was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and a great listener. She excelled in describing all the benefits and the potential side effects of HRT and had an answer for all my follow-up questions. She also provided me with a thorough post-visit info sheet about supplements that are available for women with perimenopausal symptoms. I look forward to our follow up and to finally feeling better!

Clinician was attentive

Clinician was attentive, asked questions and started me out with a plan. A follow up visit is scheduled and an open opportunity to send a message with any questions.

Help FINALLY

I have been trying for over a year to get an in-person appointment with a provider who could help me. They either required a referral I couldn't get my primary to make, or were full, with an 18 month wait for a new patient appointment. Out of sheer desperation I registered with Midi. I was able to set up an appointment with a short 4 day wait. My experience with my Midi provider was a positive one. They understood that I was worn down, tired, and asked questions (very professionally) in order to create a plan. I appreciated her honesty and explanations. I felt heard, seen, and understood. Be aware, there will be intake forms (current meds, medical history, etc.) try to be very thorough AND honest when completing these. This saves time during your appointment for follow up questions. I had very low expectations going in, but have been very pleasantly surprised and feel cautiously optimistic that I might actually feel better EVENTUALLY. I didn't get to this point over night, and one appointment, one prescription, isn't going to magically "fix" things. But it's a first step in the right direction, with a provider I believe is willing to listen and work with me to figure it out.

Seamless Care That Earns Instant Trust

From account setup and scheduling through my appointment with my provider, the entire process was a breeze. My nurse practitioner, Rachel Rossi, made me feel heard and seen for the first time in eight years. She reviewed my medical history carefully and ensured I felt confident about the treatment plan. My prescription was ready within minutes because she sent it to the pharmacy during our call. Midi has already earned my trust, and I look forward to continuing my care journey with this service.

Exceptional Telemedicine Perimenopause Appointment

I had an exceptional telemedicine experience with Shawn D. Dowe, APRN, MSN, and I cannot recommend her highly enough! From start to finish, her professionalism and care were outstanding. She arrived early to our telemedicine appointment, ensuring a smooth and punctual start, which immediately set a positive tone.

Shawn’s ability to listen attentively and demonstrate genuine empathy made me feel truly heard and understood. She asked thorough, thoughtful questions that showed her deep knowledge and commitment to addressing my concerns comprehensively. Her well-informed approach was evident in how she explained medical details clearly, making complex information easy to understand.

What stood out most was her ability to manage expectations effectively. She provided a realistic and detailed overview of what to expect moving forward, which gave me confidence in the plan we discussed. The appointment concluded with an accurate and detailed summary, ensuring I had all the information I needed to proceed with my care.

Shawn D. Dowe is a compassionate, highly skilled, and professional healthcare provider who truly goes above and beyond. I am grateful for her exceptional care and highly recommend her to anyone seeking top-notch medical support.

Easy process

Easy process. Went online and filled out a questionnaire, they checked my insurance, made a virtual appointment (within a few days) met with the NP, she was knowledgeable and very transparent, took a complete health history, offer suggestions and options, all within 30 mins, sent in Rx’s to be shipped directly to my home, set up a follow up appointment, and now to see how it helps! Would highly recommend them.

Great explanations

My first visit and I didn’t know what to expect. It was great to feel like I was being listened to and understood. My provider, Karen P., explained everything. She answered all of my questions and some I didn’t even know I had!
