Don't get certified with issa
If your thinking about going through issa to get certified, dont. At one point I got pneumonia and lost my job due to being sick for so long and no longer needed. In the month or 2 I was unable to keep up with the paymeants. I was told I had the ability to cancel and get a refund when I talked to the sales representative when I was signing up. That was untrue. Instead I go my account locked untek I caught up, and from taking to long to keep up with paymeants they decided to extended how long ill be paying and "clear the debt" to which they did not update me with that being the conclusion. I also recently had issues being able log into my account, so I changed my password, fast forword a couple days later. My password and email dont work anymore and it says my password is incorrect and no matter how many times I click "forgot password" it won't let me change it again or send me a link to change it. Working with issa has been a real pain

Great trainers
Honestly, the trainers Jenny and John (John who isn't with ISSA anymore, unfortunately for us students) who teach the bootcamp and office hours sessions and used to teach some of the live sessions - they were the ones to truly enrich and differentiate this experience for me! I've had my fair share of trainers and teachers over the years during other degrees and certifications and I can say they are hands down some of the best, each with their own style, but both excelling at what they do, knowledgeable about the material and most importantly at explaining it to us students. Jenny has a particular gift (or better said skill, I'm sure she has put a lot of work into it) to simplify complex concepts and make them digestible for literally anyone, and in a very fun way too.
Regarding the material and information, I believe it is appropriate for its level. I love the fact that it teaches how the body and how physics works, so future PTs *understand* exercise in general and specific exercises - I believe this understanding is really important in order to be able to adapt training to each client. This, coupled with the behavioral change module, along with all the coaching tips we get in the office hour sessions are what I think has made this course so good. I am also certified by the Romanian national bodybuilding federation, under IFBB, as a PT, and I can tell you that the experience and knowledge gained doesn't even compare. Good job, ISSA!

Love book material and exam is not out to fail you
I had called and talked to a very nice lady. Sade? She answered my questions and confirmed to me, the exam was not difficult. So I excitedly told her I would like to sign up.
I was excited to get started. I would go online and every time I took a quiz I failed. After spending a lot of time reading and trying to understand the website I finally called tech-support.
She said I should be using Google Chrome. Wish I knew this ahead of time.
Knowing I'm working more than full time, I was stressed on trying to find the time to study. Months went by and finally made the time to study so I got online and noticed that I needed to read a policy before continuing and saw that my exam was due in one week. I was so stressed! Never saw this before.
Luckily I passed and now I'm actually reading the book.
I really enjoyed reading the books and the material. The videos
were my favorite!
The only thing I would critique is your policy straightforward. Have me sign it the day I purchase to keep us informed before scaring us.
