Horrible experience with company, trying to cancel your membership is more than a hassle. They request signatures emails to specific parties etc but did not require any of this to sign up. We’re in June now and I’ve still not been cancelled I’ve been trying since April

Don’t go with them

They dropped my insurance and gave me a BS answer as to why they did it. Their underwriters are jerks!! I was paying my premiums monthly and they refused to to give me insurance. They also blocked me from being able to renew my policy when they claimed it expired. They absolutely have the worst customer service.

Searching for insurance is usually daunting. I found BBI’s website and opened.

The wins are easy to understand, coverage statement was clear. The website is friendlier than any insurance agent I’ve ever worked with. The follow up email was a positive add on.

If I could give 0 stars I would

If I could give 0 stars I would. I payed for first and last months coverage and canceled after one week. They refused to issue a refund of any kind. Worse customer service ever, after emailing and calling over 10 times I had to select the option to purchase coverage to get to talk to anyone. I would never recommend them there cheap for a reason. When I need insurance again it will not be through them.

Poor customer service

They are great when you sign up and renew. I canceled my policy by deleting my credit card information, because there was no where to actually cancel.

Since then I am getting emails from Rey trying to sell me again with manipulative wording and trying to sound like he has my best interest in mind, as if I'm a child and don't know how to make intelligent decisions.

I replied to his email asking to be removed from their mailings, but it has yet to happen. On their website there is not way to "contact someone" - no phone number (it is in the email), and no way to unsubscribe nor delete my account with them. And no way to unsubscribe in the emails.

I have called to try to stop their communications, and am now on hold where every 3-10 seconds a voice, that I'm assuming is Rey, repeating information. Very obnoxious!

Most stressful insurance

DO NOT USE THEM! They make you jump through unnecessary, multiple hoops to get helped!

My equipment got stolen! They want a full detailed list PLUS receipts to back it up. That’s fine , they want proof of your belongings. BUT ONCE you’re done, they want you to contact the detective to rewrite the police report !!! As if the police would actually have the time or care to RE-WRITE a report.

They don't usually require police reports to be re-written, but it sounds like essential information was left out, which is why it may need to be updated in this specific case.

We try to be transparent about what's needed to file a claim and have this information available on our website to try and help the process go as smoothly as possible: https://www.insurebodywork.com/file-a-claim

Our team can reach out to provide more clarification, but to move the claim forward you'll work directly with your Claims Adjuster.

I'm sorry about the extra step, we know it's already a stressful time, and it's certainly not our intention to add to that - we're here to help if there's anything else we can do.

Thankfully haven't had to use it! But it does make me feel safe to have business insurance. I liked how easy it was to set up and how I could add things to my insurance to protect like my tools and even internet! I use online booking. So having insurance to cover if something happens with my clients information, is super important!
