1 Month with a Dryer! Booked a repair and date set for 13th…
Booked a repair and date set for 13th between 7am and 6pm, I called same day at 2pm to get an update and was told that someone would be there between 2:30pm and 6pm, I called again a 5:30om and was told that the repair was set for the 15th ?? I said but I called earlier and was told that someone would be there that day and I was told that they have no records of previous timed bookings so can' tell me if I even called them, so I booked again for the 15th on that call and was told on that call that the repair is set for the 15th, took that day off work only to get a text today to say that the repair is set for the 21st!! I called and was told that they have no record of a repair set for the 15th even after I told them I called TWICE and was told TWICE that the 15th was the repair date, was told that I would have to request the recordings on the call if I wanted to prove that I spoke to someone at all, so I have done that, but after booking two days off work, I now have to cancel the 15th and take off the 21st. Was offered a care kit from the person on the phone as a gesture of good will, I asked what it was and they said they didn't know., it looked after my dryer I was told, the dryer that is broken and was to be fixed on the 13th and then again this 15ths and now who knows, the 21st! The staff are disengaged and disinterested and lack any awareness of how someone is feeling after booking two dates off work only for the dates to be changed without knowing and when I called I am told they don't have recorded of calls or that a previous date was set for repair so basically making me sound like a mad man, 'I called yesterday' 'oh we don't have any record' 'My Repair date was the 13th' 'Was it, we have no record' 'I called and now told the repair day is the 15th' I get a text today t say its the 21st and when I called to say, I was told yesterday that it was the 15th, 'Oh we have no record of a call or of any other date of the repair'.
I PAY FOR FULL INSURANCE and I am without this dryer for over a month, a person came to repair a heat element and left and said it was working and when I started the dryer there was a huge groaning noise and the drum stopped, repair person came back out and said, oh it is the drum. It wasn't the drum when he first called out! That was on the 2nd of April and here we are on the 14th of May and I am still without a dryer! Please avoid this company an paying for any additional cover as they don't keep records of calls on their system so the funny thing is after 25 minutes on the call today with them, I could call back later today or tomorrow and they will have no record that I called and if the date is changed again, they will have no record that anyone or the system and told me that the date is not set for 21st. Disgraceful and disrespectful! Avoid!!

Good fridge-freezer. Bad customer support
After three attempts to get fittings that were missing in the original delivery of an Indesit fridge freezer, I give up.
I purchased an integrated Indesit fridge freezer and during installation found that three hinge covers were missing from the included fittings.
These hinge covers are seem to be mostly aesthetic, but they may also reduce the chance of corrosion of the metal hinges over time - so not essential parts, but still desirable.
My first contact with Indesit customer support was while registering for the warranty. I asked about missing fittings, and the support rep told me that I needed to contact the retailer - which was wrong.
After being directed back to Indesit support by the retailer, I got in contact with them through WhatsApp and explained that fittings were missing from the original delivery. I included a photo highlighting the missing parts in the installation instructions and a photo showing where they were fitted to the hinges to make it as clear as possible what was needed. They agreed to send me the missing parts.
After waiting about two weeks the parts had not arrived. Indesit support could not provide me with a tracking code for the delivery to follow up but offered to send the parts again.
This time the parts did arrive, but they were incorrect. I contacted Indesit support again, once again providing photos showing what parts were needed, plus a photo of the wrong parts that were sent. This time support offered to send a full fittings kit.
After a few days the kit arrived, but like the original delivery, it did not include the fittings that were actually needed.
I went back to Indesit support again and provided them with more pictures to try and make it totally clear what was needed. Again, they agreed to send the parts.
The third delivery was no better, and the parts supplied had nothing to do with what was needed.
At this point, I give up. With the photos I've provided, it’s crystal clear what's needed, but they just can't seem to get it right. The fittings aren't essential to the operation of the appliance so I've just resigned myself to seeing ugly metal hinges every time I open the doors.
The fridge freezer itself has been working well for the three months that I've had it, but the poor performance of Indesit customer support has been disappointing.

The door of my Indesit washing machine had dropped within a few months of purchase and difficult to close . I contacted the service team and my issue was dealt with swiftly and expertly and sorted within 1 week .. happy days
