First time EV charger

I had a Hypervolt charger installed to accommodate my new Hybrid car. I chose Hypervolt because (a) I had read really good things about their app and customer service/support which was highly rated (b) it is a British company and (c) their Home 3 pro edged into no.1 slot by independent reviewers. Before I had even started to use it (our new car did not arrive until later), I noticed that the face of the charger was showing red which indicated that there was a fault. To cut a long story short, the fault lay not with the company who had installed it nor with the charger itself but with National Grid. Via technical support from Hypervolt, it was discovered that the voltage coming into my property (coincidentally 2 doors away from the sub-station which feeds our property) was set too high. Hypervolt were able to run a report which monitors the voltage reaching their charger over a defined period which showed that it was getting excess voltage 44% of the time over a period of a week. All EV chargers are designed to cut out if voltage fall outside a set range - this is to protect the charger itself and the car. A technical representative of the company which installed the charger was instrumental in getting National Grid to sit up and take notice of the issue. National Grid checked their sub-station and by their own admission the voltage WAS set too high and once they had turned it down, no further voltage spikes have been seen. I cannot speak highly enough of the level of customer service and support I have received from Hypervolt.

Great service and support throughout the process

Great product and service

I had a fantastic experience with Stefano from Hypervolt from start to finish. The process began with a quick and easy quote request, and I was promptly connected to my local installer, who handled everything with care and professionalism. The installation itself was smooth and efficient, and what really stood out was the consistent follow-up and support I received throughout the journey. Every step felt well-coordinated and hassle-free.

As for the charger, it's brilliant. Sleek, intuitive, and clearly built to a high standard. It's not just a functional bit of kit, it looks great too. Using it is a breeze, and I’ve had zero issues.

I’d definitely recommend Hypervolt to any EV driver looking for a quality product backed by excellent customer service.

Excellent service through installation…

Excellent service through installation and then a speedy resolution to some post installation issues as well. Hypervolt were responsive to emails and calls, managed all the coordination between myself and the electricians and got the issue sorted. Very happy!

Hypervolt Pro 3 EV Charger - Perfect

I was looking for a good EV Charger. After much searching Google recommended Hypervolt. Listed as 2nd place in top 5 best EV chargers available. Contacted Hypervolt direct and was greeted by Stephano, who was able to give me chapter & verse as to why I Hypervolt Is seen to be a market leader. He was very professional in his approach, along with being friendly and patient (given all my questions). I placed an order to have one installed thru 247EV. Again all the staff I came into contact with were very helpful. Within no time at all my order was placed and installation completed. Some days later I got another call from Stephano, checking that I was pleased with the installation, and that I was happy that it was working as intended. He also asked if I had any questions or concerns over using the App. He offered some good advice which helped with my understanding. Just to say that overall my experience from start to finish was perfect. Thank you very much to all involved, especially Stephano for guiding me in the right direction. A+++

Excellent after sales customer service

I am writing to express my sincere appreciation for the excellent support I received from your customer service hotline operator, Fred, who assisted me on (30Jun2025) regarding my Hypervolt charger, which had lost connection, unable on re-pairing and was failing to charge.

Fred was incredibly patient, polite, and helpful throughout the call. As English is not my first language, I truly appreciated that he made an effort to use simple and clear English to ensure I could fully understand the troubleshooting steps. Thanks to his guidance, the issue was resolved, and my home charger is now working normally again.

providing a stable server, quality hardware, and efficiency are all very important — but after-sales service is just as essential. Fred truly demonstrated what customers need: clear communication, genuine support, and a willingness to help until the issue is fully resolved.

One key point I want to highlight is that Fred didn’t simply copy and paste answers from the user guide or FAQ at Chatroom or reply email to user. Instead, he provided thoughtful, tailored support that clearly came from understanding the issue and caring about the customer’s experience. This is the real difference between a human and a robot, and Fred represented that human touch exceptionally well.

A very good experince

I had a very good experience with Hypervolt - Nidhi Salgude was especially helpful.

Only downside of the process was that the relationship with the installer seems to be a bit disjointed (e.g. communication regarding installation dates and invoicing) but apart from this all timescales were hit and the product does what it's supposed too.

Product also comes with a 3 year warranty.

Rubbish customer service

Was impressed 1 week insulation boys great app and electric box fantastic BUT then lost connection week after never worked in the 3 years since Hypervolt did say they were going call me but never did so as am concerned don’t waste your money bad installers as well as customer service
