Good service--poor quality

To be fair, Hionec was one of the least expensive devices I could buy. About 8 months after purchase one device failed. I contacted them and they sent me a new set and a shipping tag to return the defective pair. So far, not bad. However, another 9 months pass and another device went bad. That means in less than two years, two sets have failed. I'm disappointed, but maybe it is time to face the truth that you get what you pay for. I don't want to spend $1500+ for new hearing aids, but buying a new pair every 8-12 months isn't going to be much of a savings in the long run.

No support. Broke after 2 weeks.

No response after contacting support almost daily for 2 weeks. My dad's left hearing aid quit working. Still under warranty. You do hear yourself talking with these, no matter the mode.

Very pleased. I purchased the Fresh hearing aids and…

I purchased the Fresh hearing aids and I am very pleased that I did. I have mild to moderate hearing loss and these have made a huge difference. I look forward every morning to putting them in. I can hear sounds that I haven't heard in years, especially watching TV, talking with family and outside on my daily walks. Also, one of the units stopped working and had to be replaced. The customer service was more than I expected. They were courteous, professional and quick to respond. I would highly recommend Hionec to anyone looking for a help with their hearing loss.

Amazing sound quality

Perfect for seniors for their day to day use, I got this for my mother who is 85+. She liked it over the bulkier version of hearing aids that wrap around the ear and sit behind. This liking was due to the fact that these aids have noise canceling action. I was able to control the squealing by adjusting the volume and choosing the correct ear tips. What I noticed is that if the tips are too large, and don't fit the ear canal, there are more chances the feedback will be heard.

It is known that once hearing is reduced, devises such as these cannot replace the original sound. One can become used to these after a use of couple weeks at least. So patience is virtue. Quite a bit of experimentation has gone into these devices where I was able to find the best volume setting and direction of these aids.

The aids are tiny, a little bigger than a peanut. The small size makes these devices vulnerable to a fall, loss or damage. I wish there was a way to string these together to keep them together. But still a very nice device!

Comfortable to wear, great sound quality, easy to use app

I have mild to moderate hearing loss with tinnitus sometimes. My first hearing aids costed me $4K and required frequent doctor's visits. I've had the Hionec set for two weeks now and I'm very pleased with the experience.
The quality is sound and clear, with very natural background sound but not much white noise. The app that goes along with the hearing aids has the ability to test your hearing which I find helpful. At first, I was a little bit impatient to go through so many steps to set up the device. But trust me, all the steps are necessary and useful to get the best sound quality for you. And it even comes with the noise cancelling and also the feature of sculpting the frequency so I can turn up the volume without the shrill top end. I also like the battery level indicator on the charging case. Very convenient!
For this price, the features and sound quality are very good, not mentioning the convenience
