Caring and knowledgable
The counselors that worked with our grandson were great, by listening to him and having him make the correct decisions. With him making the decisions he had to take accountability for each decision and not blame others. They were/are caring and polite.

I think the sessions were good. I only feel sad that we don't have any feedback from the sessions in the end of the whole process.

Lack of communication.
First the appointments kept getting rescheduled for 3 months out. Then when we finally got in my son told me all they did was show him videos. The worst part of it was the lack of communication after the fact. I got no feedback on if my child needs more help or not. Nothing what so ever.

Kayla was fantastic
Kayla was fantastic. My son loved talking to her. She was very welcoming and easy for him to engage with. You could see the improvement in my son in just a few weeks after speaking to her. It has been a few months since and I believe Kayla was a major factor in him becoming happy again. I would highly recommend her!

Grateful For Hazel
I had concerns about my daughter that I felt her therapist, Amelie Buigne, really took the time to address. She learned my daughter's likes and interests and tailored the sessions around those interests to help keep my daughter engaged. She was always sweet, patient and understanding with my daughter and helped her come up with a toolbox to help her cope with her emotions and energy level. Of course few sessions aren't a solve-all, but she has given us valuable tools that we did not have before and it is up to us to practice them. I am grateful for this program and to Amelie.

Just as effective as in-person therapy
From the ease of scheduling to the quality of care, every aspect of Hazel Health has exceeded my expectations. The convenience of being able to attend sessions from the comfort of my own home is truly invaluable. It eliminated the stress of commuting and finding parking. This flexibility has made it so much easier to prioritize my son's mental health without disrupting our schedules. My son's therapist has been incredibly supportive and professional. She created a safe and understanding environment where my son felt completely comfortable opening up. The quality of the therapy itself hasn't been compromised at all by being virtual; in fact, I've found it just as effective as traditional in-person sessions. If you're on the fence about trying Hazel Health, take this as your sign to go for it. It's an efficient, effective, and truly transformative way to access mental health support. Highly, highly recommend!

Amazing counselor and intake staff!
The intake counselor was so kind and non-judgmental. After the first session, my son said his counselor was "a GOAT" and "cool," both terms being high praise from my son. My son has already used the calming techniques that he learned and his outbursts are definitely less than before counseling. I would highly recommend Hazel!

Great services when really needed
While the call back was done very quickly to start services and my daughter got the the therapist she requested. Her sessions with him didn’t last long and the wait for another one took a while. We were not use to having sessions so late in the day so the few that she did have were missed due to her school events. Would I recommend Hazel Health? YES. We actually used the service twice and I actually noticed a difference in my daughter and her wanting to speek up for herself and express herself more.
